NON-MFC: Round 07
Great to see Jesse do so well. Giants are really carving them up with their run. Watched a little of the lions cats game in really wet conditions last week and thought the lions might pull up short tonight. GWS should go pretty deep into finals again this year.

Yep, for sure. Would be great to see the Lions drop out.

Kicking 6 straight has to set them up close to winning from here

I always taught my kids to applaud good play by any team. If you're going through the BS that is going to the AFL these days, you're doing it to see the best of the best play footy. If an opposition team or player, does something spectacular, why wouldn't you acknowledge it. I don't mean cheering them on, just acknowledge good play. Boooing is just plain dumb (unless it's Maynard) As for those getting stuck into JVR, the kid has just turned 21. Apart from Fritta, it's been an incredibly up and down forward line and delivery is only just getting sorted out, let alone playing with the same blokes up forward week in week out. Be patient, I reckon he's going to be a Coleman medalist for us once he matures and our forward line and systems doo too.

I thought he just looked a bit buggered. Nothing else. You could say the same about a lot of the team. We really seem a little flat after Adelaide. I found his interview quite good and it was great to see him out there talking. Didn't really see his finger but the panel remarked how sore it looked and he admitted in the interview, he probably shouldn't have played against the lions. Playing at that level and that role with a busted hand would wear you down.

The disturbing thing is that the really poor kicking has been under practically no pressure at all. None! How are we going to go in the next 3 weeks once the blow torch is applied. It's been years since I've seen such poor skills by this team. After last week against the Lions. I'm perplexed.

Our coaching team sometimes doesn't seem to respond quickly to counter opposition strategies at times. Could be quite fascinating to see what Ooze puts on the table tonight. I don't know if he's got the cattle on the field but it should make for great viewing. Especially with BT and Selwood's thoughtful insights. "Woweeeee" - "The tigers aren't getting their hands on the ball." Might find that SEN app Go Dees and enjoy the night to those getting along. Shout your guts out for us

2024 MRO & Tribunal
I've always thought the game would morph towards an "international rules Aust v Ireland" type format. Faster, more hard running less clashes but still physical. Jack Viney is a perfect example of someone who has adjusted his game to still bring opponents down but in a way where there's no driving the head into the turf. I dunno what they'll do about marking contests where players are leading with their knees. It's such a spectacle of the game to see those big pack marks. Someone usually comes away rubbing the back of their head.

Yep it was no.4 Achee I think. 3rd qtr?. Very similar collision to Kozzies but nothing really replayed or mentioned by the media, so all good happy days. Go Lions. Got to get em up or the crowds don't show in Brisvegas. He'll be free to play as compared to the so called "sniper" we have playing for us. It's just ludicrously inconsistent week to week, game to game. Bluuurgh
