  1. ??. But we have others like Sparrow...Harmes and a couple of others that can cover injuries there. In fact with Gus in the mix we have been wondering what to do with Viney. Now with Jackson injured we have nobody but Tmac to play 2nd key frwd. Not sure I follow your argument.
  2. True but why risk it? Jacko and Weid certainly look the goods but what if one of them is injured ....oh wait a sec...or both? Another big bodied power forward is definately a must have for future finals campaigns. I dont believe we are going to get 20 plus from Tmac or Melksham. Maybe Fritta but thats about it. Given we still dont have a proven consistent small goalsneak, then where are our goals coming from?
  3. Hes an awseome kicker at goal too. I think his body is collecting past debts. Yesterday was below par but the 2 games prior he had been working back into form. However the games prior to those 2 and most of last year cannot be overlooked. No matter how many say hes doing his role in helping Weid, if hes not kicking goals hes not doing his complete job. Alas, probably time for him to move on. We need another proven big power forward asap. As talented as Jackson and Weid are, I dont want us caught short again.
  4. Absolutely. Also needs to compete a little harder in the second halves.
  5. Spargo a poor game with 2 rippers in the bank. Fritta was good today with 8 marks. Weid is good but canr seem to maintain his intent for 4 qrtrs. Hannan, Harmes and Tmac have had their day it seems. Pickett is just starting out so needs more time. Back to the drwaing board. To be fair to Goody who would want this bloody iob.
  6. Have been appreciative of Tmac's form the last 2 games but its just not enough. I know hes only one of 22 but its a clear signal to the others if we drop him. Let Harmes, Hannan and melksham have some time off as well and put everyone on notice. Play the coachimg staff for all I care but please dont reward lack of effort anymore.
  7. Gut wrenching loss today but a timely reminder that we are not who we thougt we were. Not finals contenders. A few pointed out the depleted side the pies were but my colour blundness wouldnt see it. Sadly Im seeing more clearly. I see Weid as a player who simply fades away in the second half. I notice Tmac is just making up the numbers time and time again. I observed Hannan and Harmes are the same as Tmac. I see that Pickett shows promise but it is far from ready. I think that Lockart is the same.I see Melksham is no leader and we really rely on big Max way too much. Sadly not the best from Oliver and Trac today with Gus close to his old form. Thanks to Viney and May who showed the other lads how to do it. Alas 3 or 4 players cant win a game. Was a huge game changer today and Im sure Im not alone in thinking we wont play finals. ????????
  8. Doggies mids showing ours all day how its done. Some serious broom sweeping rquired at the end of the year. Given how much we spent on fixing our backline can we please do the same at the other? Despite the last 3 weeks of blind support by most of is, its fair to say the pressure is back on the coach again. If we dont play finals and its more than likely after today we wont, then does Goodwin deserve a pass. If so then next is make or break for him.
  9. Save a miracle its all over and I dare say the season too. Drinking the bathwater again but shame on me for beating them to it. Unfortunately exposed as a team just entering the top 8 for a week and then throwing in the towel. Full credit to the dogs who wanted it SO much more than us and put their bodies on the line all day and crunched their tackles and were prepared to run and spread at all times. Tmac needs to go. Pickett not ready. Hannan never enough. Harmes a pretender. Weids never kicks a bag. Max out is a huge factor. Hold your head up May. The dream was fun for a week. Whens cricket start?
  10. Be interesting to see if Tmac gets another chance next week.
  11. Why does Weid start on fire but his second halves are lacklustre. Is it fitness?
  12. Well the yeam prepared to put their bodies on the line deserves to win. Unfortunately its not us. Second to the ball all the time.
  13. Can we PLEASE stop the centre clearance breakouts.
  14. Was surprised at Tmac's burst of speed then. Needs pull down some more marks though.
  15. Pound for pound and inch for inch Fritta is a premier forward.
  16. Great quarter from Fritta but Pickett was quiet. May and Lever working hard. Need to move the pill quicker into our forward line.
  17. Gone back to that old style of chup kicks out of defence. Too casual.
