It certainly seems that way at times. I give credit to carlton today. I thought they tackled and chased very hard. Got a good rub from the maggots and had a few snaps fly through. But we dont look like we are throwing the proverbial sink at teams as yet. There seems to be a strong belief in the boys and one another. Such a different team. Despite appearances we are giving our all. I think we have to accept that as top dog we are being hunted so each week our opponents are playing their absolute best to knock us off. I think this is evident by revved up clubs coming out all fired up and winning the first fifteen minutes. Its the same pattern almost every game Its a different level to other games and takes its toll each week. But we just keep pushing and working and believing and winning. Full credit to the fitness staff. As much as i want to smash a team Ill take four goal wins week after week including the grand final.

Tmac had a Quarter like Hogan did last night. Im starting to remember how good our forward line four years ago was with them both firing. If Bbb..sw or Jackson can do what hogan did we will be awesome. Fritta is coming into his best form and aside from Tmac he would be great isolated up there with lots of space. We looked quite crowded up fwd at times today and Sw was okay but I think on todays showing will get pushed aside for Lj. Great job by our smalls today. I think our fwd line is suited to dry conditions.

Im really thinking we trial Spargo in the middle. His tackling is awesome. Hes small and will get under packs as well as frees for high tackles. He works very hard. His disposal is quick and accurate by hand and foot . For his size hes a fast runner. Hes very fit. Hes tough and brave. Gives his all. I think he might be a better option than Kozzie. Harmes was good last week but hes more a tagger and tackler than a ball getter and mover. Just wondering. Certainly missing Jv.

Good point. We are just so persistent. We clearly have an inner belief that if we keep working and doing what we are trsined for and good at then the points are ours. The belief us great It is not the Melbourne that we are familiar with. No panic. No giving up. No passengers. Hard work and hard efforts all the way through and for nine games in a row.

Except for Nibblers new found goal skills..Tmac proving all of us that he is still a top five forward...oliver getting better each year and an AA backline that is the best going around? Oh yea and Goody proving hes a great coach.

Its a positive take but I reckon most of us our expecting to smash someone given we are the best. But maybe being the best brings out the best in opposing teams. Beating number one is a big scalp. I struggle with our slow starts but our fitness is unreal.

Factoring our misses on goal and carltons lucky snaps Im calling it Forty point win. Not pretty against a lower side but thats the way this season is. Teams are close and its a wing and a prayer even for top teams at times. Even though we havent burried anyone if we address our slow starts we will smash someone. Its the law of averages. You just cant be nine zip and not be a very very good side.

Im sure we will soon. I dont think we are playing our best with the same slow starts. Full credit to us though we got another raw deal from unprofessional umpires but like every other match we just kept pushing and pushing. Our fwd structure was off today as was our midfield in the first half. We will sort it out and find our best form at the best time. Max seems tired as does Trac but you cant keep champions down. Full credit to Langdon again. Just always playing his absolute best and never kwts us down. Spargo growing in confidence. Olivers fitness is fantastic. Where woyld we be without Tmac...five and four if lucky. He is as good as he ever was.

We were flat at times. Wet weather didnt help. Blues almost rolled dogs last week. Jackson out ...different structure. Great tackling by blues all day. 13..16 v 10.8 we were inaccurate again. Shocking umpiring . Its a win but a mediocre one given respective rankings but dont forget.. NINE ZERO.
