Oliver Rumours on Footy Classified
We were touted as being a "destination club a couple of years back". If we dont show some serious umprovement with our current list and make finals consistently then its understandable good players are tempted to leave. We have lost quite a few in the past and clubs like ours get stuck in a rut of low performance. I dare say we are not a destination club nor glamour club by any stretch. I hope Oliver stays and contributes towards our success.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
They may be in similiar positions but Brown is a much better bet. Tmac has had 2 shocking seasons in a row. He has only had 1 successful year as a forward. Most of this time with Hogan in the side tmac pulled the 2nd best oppo defender. Prior to this season which wasnt complete and very topsy turvy Brown kicked 60 goals plus 3 years in a row with every teams best defender on him. 60 goals plus for 3 successive years is Elite. Nmelb are making a big mistake. We should grab him for the right price.

Best and Fairest Top 5
Its kinda of worrying I think we could struggle to find a top 8.

Free Kick Differential 2020
How does a wooden spooner get so many free kicks. Crows fans are shockers. So are the umps this year.

My 3 word player analysis for 2020
His lack of tackling in those 2 losses was a worry. Perhaps Brown should have come in much sooner.

We desperately need a gun key forward
Smart move. Fritta would be better utilised further down the ground. Not because of his recent poor shhoting at goal but with his marking be a good link out of our defence. Also with his build he is more suited there as he can get outmuscled. Thrives in space. Weid at chf. Jackson at ff. However these 2 are still unproven prolofic scorers and someone like Cameron for example that can come straight into ff and kuck 40 a year would be nice. If we can unload Tmac in some way it would help with the $. Perhaps he would do well in a club that needs a proven fb defender. Melksham doesnt seem to trouble the sboard anymore and as such like tmac the club has been trying him in different roles. As much promise as sw and Jackson have shown I believe it risky to bet on them just yet.

Delistings
This is accurate. Can I suggest retire our wonderful servant in dark times Nathan Jones. Perhaps a kept on in a coaching role . Trade Melksham. Delist Smith. ANB a possible trade. One good game towards the end of the season isnt everything. Despite the week of hell, losing 2 innable games the club seems in a position to certainly improve if we implement the above. May and Trac have become what we hoped for. Langdon is a star. Much promise in Rivers and Jackson. If we can find just ONE 40 plus ff and a good crumber than we will be lloking good. Hopefully we will also have around 10 new players to pick from rather than shuffling the usual suspects.

OUR SEASON
This. Thanks. Time to go.... so very many. Maybe Hunt redeemed himself so there are about 10 to let go.

DEEDAY: Dockers vs Bulldogs
Fair call. Hes been far from perfect. Im pretty sure if we manage our list correctly and do some more smart recruiting we will play finals next year. As for Goodwin, i think he will still be around and redeem himself.

DEEDAY: Dockers vs Bulldogs
I think we knew after our own game against the dockers what are fate was.

DEEDAY: Dockers vs Bulldogs
All I can say is come on Hogan, dont let us down. Show us you still love the Mfc and kick a dozen.

Inappropriate Touching
There ypung blokes. Before I get shouted down, can most of us those who are older and wiser think of the things we have done. We have had the luxury of not being under the spotlight. Im not condoning it , just sayn. They still need to be more professional. Its also annoying that doing it when the coach is speaking. Its not like the game was wrapped up. After the 2 losess to swans and freo, they should have All pulled their fingers out. Definately No pun intended.

DEEDAY: Dockers vs Bulldogs
Hopefully freo will have a crack like the swans.

We desperately need a gun key forward
Yes, absolutely gun midfields help forward platers out. Yet gun forwards become top guns in the same scenario. I think about the tigers with2 stars in Lynch and riewoldt. Id be happy with one of those blokes. Weid and Jackson are not the same. They may be one day but its still a gamble. Rather someone who has already kicked 40 plus.

We desperately need a gun key forward
Full credit to the club for improving our backline. May is a star and been the difference bw winning and losing several games. Long overdue to fix the other end. Weid is still and unknown commodity. Has played some rippers but has npt featured at all in quite a few as well. Jackson shiws great promise but is only young and has played few games. Like May, we need a proven player at ff. Cameron?

POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs Essendon
Weid was fairly solid but ma y posters have neen quite reasonable to not be happy with his last 3 to 4 games prior. Yea delivery has not always been great but he hasnt shown a great deal of intensity. I.e his lack of tackling in those games. He has had several very good games this year and looks like he will be somthing very special but then goes quiet for at least just as many. I personally thonk he is a very skilled player but does he have the passion. Hopefully he will continue to grow and become even better. I also think he is best suited to playing at chf. He plays better when he has room to move and cant clunk as many in big packs. He is more of an athletic forward than a stand and grab old fashioned type who use their body strength.

POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs Essendon
I certainly question his playing hunt and smith in defence and melksham playing at all. His dog like determination in persisting with tmac instead of brown. Omac at anytime. His gameplan in windy conditions and his dear in the headlight performances on the many times we are getting smashed like the freo game. He hasnt got shocking win/loss ratio but if we are to believe most commentators and punduts we are a good team not living up to our talent. ( ie 2018 we were one game away from a gf.) So we either an average group of players who most of us overate or Goody is not a mastercoach. I know Essendon are a rabble but that 2nd quarter was a hark back to the prelim finalists we were not long ago. In saying that I think a fair ammount of failure has to land on the coach and the sub coaches he surrounds himself with.
