Four in a row will put us back on equal first. Looking forward to it. I can see how fans get greedy.

Felt that way but not anymore. I think the cats would be lucky to make finals without the number of wins they rack up from kardinia. And yea it would be good to play weagles in vic just once...i love optus stadium now. -

I hope we gets twice again😁 -
At Seven now. Who has got the record? Anything new jump out? Bbb must have got amongst the votes. Fritta is catlike. I can see why people want back to back flags.

Covers a fair bit of the ground too.

Closest to the mark...2022 membership total

53k is great in this horrible covid time. Your guess sounds good but may be higher depending on covid. Another year like this one and fans free to flock to the G could see 70 plus. This could be a decade of success on and off the turf. -
Melbourne Demons - The movie/documentary?
leave it to deever replied to Supreme_Demon's topic in Melbourne Demons
But in all seriousness, it would be a great idea for one of the world's oldest football clubs and how long we have waited. Could be crowd sourced here on Dland.- 50 replies

Been waiting for Bbb to kick five or six. But his gf effort was great nonetheless. Has been a great addition to our forward line since coming in. Got better each passing game. While Fritta has been the prolific scorer, Bbb has been a great target. He has been instrumental also in stopping intercept marking. Has also surpassed Tmac in coming down the ground and presenting. Solid hands and and an accurate shot at goal. Continues to improve and we will see his champion form of 19, 18 and 17. Possibly better as Norfs midfield doesnt compare. Well done Bbb and Mfc for the selection. Still a few good years in him too.

3 goals in 32 seconds - the quickest 3 goals ever?
leave it to deever replied to Lou C. Fur's topic in Melbourne Demons
So many games ive watched where we have conceded a goal in the dying stages or minute of a quarter. It would have been bad enough to dogs fans to lose their three goal lead. It must have hurt the dogs when Trac kicked that freakish goal. But the two after that would have killed. -
Yep. Great second half in Gf and young. Lotz to like.

Geez it would hurt. You go and get a beer to celebrate and then see the score at the break. Wth. -
3 goals in 32 seconds - the quickest 3 goals ever?

It was an incredible quarter . When dogs kicked onto a nineteen point lead with Bont having a good day I really thought we would lose. True 19 points isn't huge but given we smashed the first quarter we seemed to have totally slowed down. The one thing that has been different about this club is how many times we have come back from being down. Not just scorewise but also our momentum. So many games this year Mfc of old would have rolled over. But to comeback like that and add those three junktime goals I knew we had won. It was a thing of beauty. -

Must be close if not. I'm no stats man but I'd be happy to wager a lot that its certainly the case in a GF. -

Not for the first time either. Which is why I preferred him selected over JJ. Our first goal...Tracs was similiar but perhaps Trac wasnt as far out. Its not all timing...it shows a lot of strength in the legs. Sparrow is a strong player. Had a great second half. He may be a future Trac. -

If you were a dogs supporter with the ball in our fwd line with a minute to go you would be thinking dont let them get a goal. But three. 😁 -

No doubt this is an incredible team. I do wonder how much depth we have. I would hate to see a player poached but I think we probably have another five or six quality player who could fit right in. I doubt we will have another run of 2018 injuries but we were very lucky this year. Then again if we keep recruiting like we have then there's very chance we be a force for the the next decade. We are also a fairly young side except for Max. I hope we can keep Jackson and Kozzie. We will really start to have a lot of new young fans join us and the future looks very bright. -

Well considering how long we have waited....its not too greedy to want at least back to back. This is a team that is fairly young or at lest poised age wise to have more success. Given the way we carved up all the other finalists it would be not much of a leap to do the same next year. How nice to enter a season with that sort of confidence in our team
