Best case we'll be fighting over the scraps I assume the process will be similar to last week except on Ticketmaster this time. Tickets will be available to AFL, medallion club and St Kilda members first I assume Tuesday. After that on I assume on Wednesday morning Melbourne members should get our shot, I think it's a member free for all, I didn't think they were doing priority access for the away team but don't quote me on that.

Don't get too comfortable, next time we lose there'll be a "why we'll never win another game" thread

St Kilda's best line is their forwards and our best is our defenders. If we can get on top in the middle playing mostly in our half and limit their opportunities we'll be in it up to our eyeballs.

If I was coach I'd name people in different positions every week just to come to this thread and laugh manically

Every single game teams have a carry over emergency who is ready to play right up to the warm up... This player usually misses the 2nds game and doesn't play at all, unless the stars align and the 2s are playing the next day. Having them sit at the back of the bench just in case of injury at any time instead of in the stands makes a lot of sense to me... It's actually a wonder it hasn't happened sooner. I just hope that the subbed out player has a forced 1 week layover regardless of the injury to prevent the aforementioned gaming of the system. Call it what bending over all you want but it'd actually be one of the more logical rule changes in recent times

I'm making the same assumption. Seems counter productive to the whole social distancing thing to limit capacity then to shove us all together down the bottom

I also go charged $3.15 and was also not allowed to select anywhere other than level 1. It claimed level 4 'Allocation exhausted' at 5:01 when I logged in. Even if every single reserve seat member selected level 4 surely it wouldn't be 50% full. I suspect some funny business is going on here.

You can write anything you want as long as it involves asking for more! Good to see the AFL recognising something that's really lacking.

Burgess was on Gus and Gawn podcast, didn't talk much injury news but Benny Gibson mentioned a few Salem was precautionarily left out of the Box Hill game but expected to be available Hibbard, Kozzie and Gus as we know all played and should be available But by the sounds of it Melksham's not ruled out yet but very unlikely, Viney we already knew And Joel Smith just about snapped his finger off

Not a lot of good following on twitter would have done people anyway. I found out about the game at about 10 min before it started last night when I made the effort to go to Box Hill's twitter to see if they had any info because I was free to go if it was today. I follow both Melbourne and Casey on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram as well as Melbourne on YouTube and as we know nothing on the website or via email. Nothing from any of them until the game had already begun. In fact the earliest communication was Casey's first tweet that came with a photo showing it was already 24 minutes into the first qtr and Melbourne's only communication was a retweet of that very post an hour after that. I understand when they withhold injury information despite how frustrating it is. But this is just crap. A simple tweet from both saying "Casey boys playing Box Hill at Casey Fields tonight. Unfortunately this will be closed to the public. Updates and a match report to follow" Would have been enough info surely. A team list would have been a bonus. But nothing at all? As for Ben, He's around working mostly on AFLW stuff at the moment. They did release an AFLW "Before the Bounce" video last night with Libby and Ben

There is none. AAMI series was reduced to 1 game due to border restrictions. Casey plays this weekend so we will have some representation that. Idk when or where that is being played or if we can even go but I doubt it'd be ticketed. They'll likely announce that later today or tomorrow
