2015 Ins: hardness 2015 Outs: anything resembling soft- Delistings/trades at end of the season
Nathan Jones wasn't cut of that cloth of immunity, he just had a stronger resistance. he too was weakened below his level, by the disease. it took him 5 yrs of supporters wanting him gone, before he started to overcome it. many talents fell victim to its feather-bed illusions. wasted talents.- Delistings/trades at end of the season
lets dissect the under-performing time frame. lets say from the start of year 2000 lets go right back past the bailey era... for a moment. Which players did not like to work really hard all the time, on defensive work running, chasing, manning up, being accountable; prior to Jamar, Garland, Dunn, Frawley, eras? lets list the ones who didn't like to do the hard stuff like, physical tackling bringing opponent crashing to ground, always leave opponent off his feet, chasing flat out, running to spread & receive, crashing packs when necessary, dropping off to help teammate, sacrificial acts like run to draw opponent,- Delistings/trades at end of the season

can't have too many good midfielders in our cap. go for broke I say.- Delistings/trades at end of the season
or was it all of this?- Delistings/trades at end of the season
is that GAJr up front with the lowered shoulder? can't quite tell from here.- Delistings/trades at end of the season
yep, Henderson is the one currently avail' . hes the perfect foil for our current list... we don't want 2 kids we're waiting for, to potentially develop. trengove, dunn, frost jetta, T-Mac, cross, kent, tyson, salem watts, Henderson, petracca garlett, Colonel, fitzpatrick spencer, brayshaw, jones, selwood, garland, lamumba, viney, vandenborg, toumpas, stretch, neal-bullen, grimes, weideman, white, howe, aish,- Delistings/trades at end of the season
I think ' won't ' could be a possible issue & imo, his status could be on a tradable list ? particularly if we could land a big Henderson fish.- Delistings/trades at end of the season
there is only one answer to this, Just Get It done.- Delistings/trades at end of the season
yes, well sort of, the picture is an individual, who is sitting, in a canoe, facing down hill, on the easy slope. ...... we've had way too many of these in our recent past ; & this type leaves a greasy film over everything behind them. too hard to clean up after they've let you down. please no lazy talents any more.- Delistings/trades at end of the season
its a positive that he has finally responded to some critique & shown he has some more in the tank. but just how much is in there when the chips down? Spence is a goer, & will go & go. gawn is yet to show this, that he can go & go. week after week, after week, & thru the seasons. how hungry he is, his inner self is yet to witness.- Delistings/trades at end of the season
would prefer both of them, Yarran off a wing, i reckon sounds good.- Delistings/trades at end of the season
'Spence' has been improving steadily over 3 seasons. he's pretty resilient... gawn has played what, one, or two good games? Max. I reckon it is a bit early to say, 'gawn' is the next big thing. he's barely pulled the skin off, a rice pudding to this point.- Delistings/trades at end of the season

I agree b_r_f_e.... & michael young, as a bit of a blue on our account, comes to mind, as well as the heffernone one, was a bummer as well.- Delistings/trades at end of the season
I recall seeing him some seasons, ago playing well run & carry with a nice kick. recent seasons, it seems, he isn't considered in the hawks top-18 ? ... and I've been told by a few Hawthorn friends, that he isn't so great at the contested ball, but I'm willing to be stood corrected on that, as I haven't watched him all that much. happy to hear from others here, as to how hard suckling is, or not hard, if that be?- Delistings/trades at end of the season
I think also it will depend on who we can trade-in; & tradein, as to which players go. just yet I think this Is why this trade period is our biggest in recent memory, & also under Roosy's time. We have to clear out some more of the old culture people, & bring more fresh air minds in. ..... we need some more mature players to replace the gap in our 26Yr age bracket of weakness. only for the right price, as he can kick but is on the soft side.. and we already have way too much of that sort of kind hearted soft, in our culture, & our list. adding more can stilt the attempts to rid it; & get a hard nosed- Delistings/trades at end of the season
& I'll throw in a hand of green bananas, o-d- Delistings/trades at end of the season
Its good that its more difficult now to find De-listings after a handful of the obvious. trade outs will be in order, for picks/players from here on.- Delistings/trades at end of the season
as song says, na nah nah nah- Delistings/trades at end of the season
I agree that Jones is a hard worker so he ticks boxes with his seeming attitude. imo he trumps Bail & McKenzie. Grimes could still become a small shutdown, or run with player, or back pocket ? ...... but he has some trade value, so ??? with Grimesy'. ... it's long enough for the non-regulars from the old culture; so to me the writing is on the wall, for those players who can't make the side after being on our List over the past 5+ years outsiders, or inside listers? you can trust me to keep it private, for the clubs benefit. won't even tell any of my friends or family.- Delistings/trades at end of the season
