  1. If I had P-2 or 3, followed by chippa compo, I would trade the first pick plus a player to get the deal over the line. Offering Danger dollars, goes without saying... $m5.2 over 4 Yrs front biased. the Crows will want a tall imo. Our 1st pick + a package from {Gawn, Watts, MJones, McKenzie, Toump, Evans, Blease, Jamar, Tapscott, Georgiou...), for Danger. ... if Frawls signed on, maybe they would entertain a trade of Chippa + Toumpas or Gawn, for Danger - plus their 3rd Rnd pick?
  2. I think that is because its so strong & even. at least thru the top rounds. so this would make P-11 & P-15 stronger than other years, compared to P-4. also the focus has shifted away from the heavy bias to 18Yr olds, of past years.
  3. this is what I'm trying to workout, we need to add something to P-4, to get P-9 & P-14/15 ? But if Dangerfield becomes an option, P-4 may be spoken 4... a le` Toump.
  4. No, not with GWS. they are our salavation; burn them at our own peril. we can have a mutual benefit society, based on trust & win-wins. trash that & they will suitor other clubs... the $cully deal has turned for us atmo.
  5. they say, Nicho has a great beep test.

  7. IMO we can be patient with the 'Pres',,, as we improve & they plateau, which they will once in the top 6, then maybe we can strike a Blow on the fruiterer.
  8. I don't get why people are talking about Treloar? Great player, but looks settled to me this year, where Shiel looks to be cruising in 3rd gear, looks to want out to me. Lets go after the ones we can get first. Shiel will be every bit as good or better once he's settled... then package in Jaksch; & also a deal for Tomlinson, not necessarily in this order. we need so many players to get to the top.
  9. wouldn't surprise me to see the Saints grab him. Or even try to trade their pick like we did last year. to get 2 for one?
  10. I desperately want a trade for Shiel, & a tall 197cm key utility (Jaksch, doesn't have to be this year). And from this draft Petracca sounds great...... Along with the true small forward we need (Pickett), & also the midfielder-3rd-Tall Utility in (Lamb). somewhere around picks 8-15 ? I reckon these players would give us the difference, & versatility & class, onto our list to go along way to repairing our lacking 'Class'.
  11. yeah, terlich probably not. I want the suns picks for the draft. just getting desperate, & greedy. sorry about that chief.
  12. everyone is thinking of Petracca going at 3 or 4. Not so sure. He may go top 2. Then what would we do?
  13. Pick 3 (compo pick) anyway. trade P-3(compo pick) & Terlich, to GCS, for Kade Kolodjashnij & P-11
  14. looks good, cool in the mind leading to good decisions, but seems always out in space? whats her like under the pump, with close attention. is he accountable for his opponent?
  15. I don't want 2 young 18Yr old Mids, from the draft.... Shiel, who is raring to go;& a tasty bit of spring Lamb, who could play most spots & Mid as well, with height & run & dash..... Versatility in our first 2 pick selections, with strength, toughness, run, height, & marking.

  17. I don't want 2 young 18Yr old Mids, from the draft.... Shiel, who is raring to go; & a tasty bit of spring Lamb, who could satisfy most needs & in the Mids as well, with height, run & dash..... Versatility in our first 2 pick selections, with strength, toughness, run, height, & marking.
  18. if we get a compo pick for Chipper, then Shiel as entre`, & young Lamb should our Main course.
  19. and I put him onto DTalia as well. & JCB is not a fool. he's a loyal & committed Demon Patriot.

ah, the spontaneity of un-synthesized footy. Huh, the fun it was. I bleed for its return.
  21. I agree. If we had say P-5 & [6 compo]... then use P-5 on a semi ripe Mid, a bit like this kid > http://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/pp-greater-western-sydney-giants--dylan-shiel And trade P-6 & maybe a Tapscott/Blease, on a key tall who plays both ends well, & has height, 195+, & agility, a bit like this kid > http://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/pc-greater-western-sydney-giants--kristian-jaksch, # My trade fantasy would be to sign Chip Frawley, & then on-trade (Frawley & P-23), to the Gold Coast Suns on a 5Yr deal,,, for the GCSuns P-10 & P-12 . ... I'd look to trade P-6 & P-10 to GWS for a couple of players wanting to come home, hopefully (DShiel & CJaksch + GWS's end of 1st Rnd compo pick). Under these circumstances, we would be well off ourselves, heading into our future.
  22. we need both. if we end up with P-4 & 5,,,, or P-5 & 6, via compensation, then we trade, & visit the draft as well, just as we did last year. We get both a semi mature mid from trade, plus a pick... we also use our first pick in the draft on a young talent. .. 'the incoming traded pick' from the trade deal, we can on-trade, or use in the draft.
  23. thats true, but for a player who wants out of GWS to return home; a top 6 pick would get a deal done for a young player who hasn't yet scorched this Old Earth. for a Shiel or a Treloar. If your talking about Cameron, then a bit more for him.
  24. Not now that he's doing well down halfback, & helping setup play with his kicking & run. He's developing more versatility, & is showing he is prepared to work harder, & not just do the flash stuff. He's a keeper, unless GWS want to trade Cameron for him & a pick?
  25. can still be traded can't he? if the right deal came along?
