Agree with all pleading patience. I think OMac, whilst still a work in progress, is a demonstration of our club investing in young KP player development and that rewards are forthcoming (perhaps slower than desired, but in line with our teams tilt for a flag). Weids has been more of a slow burn with injuries, but there's been a few games where he's shown that it's worth the continued investment in him.

Petracca wants to start in the guts.
I say let him play wherever he bloody well wants.

Family Day 2018 Returns to the 'G (Sunday 4/3/18)
Spot on in my case WJ. I couldn’t talk my boy (12) into it once he found out it was at the G. We’ve been to the last 4-5 at Luna Park so he was looking forward to the rides as well. Kids are a bit spoiled these days. I’d have given my left knacker at his age to have a chat, photo and autograph with the dees players.

My boy has done the guard of honour twice, and loved it. They generally post the guard of honour photos on their Facebook page. Worth checking.

[censored] he has to lose some weight to get a body shaped like Tulip's. About 30 kegs I'd reckon

What did Geelong give up to the crows to get Dangerfield?

I'm not enjoying the discussion on trading Frost. I love that we're building a galvanised group, and I very much see Frost as part of that core (and O Mac, gee he's come on much quicker than I thought). Let's not pick away at the foundations to get to the promise of a flag; this group could just about do it themselves given time. That said, the recruitment team are solid gold, so whatever they reckon is fine by me.

When will Melbourne break these embarrassing records?
So never in the last 25 years then

When will Melbourne break these embarrassing records?
Have we ever played them at night in Perth? As we keep on winning, these hoodoos are going to become more and more obscure.

He reminds me of Brett Lovett gun.

In Jason Taylor we trust!
I'm going to take Saty's line on this and leave it in the hands of those in the think tank that have displayed considerable acumen and results with little to play with in terms of draft picks. I have complete faith.

Time to show Oscar some respect!
Nailed it DA. ?

I'd have to say Nash in support of this that I recall relatively few stoppages deep in defence. Most stoppages are, IIRC, across the half back line and our mids are generally back in support and tackling. Backs generally hang off the the contest where possible and try to get quick ball movement via handball chains to a player in space (often Hibbo) to clear. When I think of the Mac brothers, its intercept marking that's their strength. Frosty is our rebound ace. Gresham from St Kilda just ran T Mac around in circles in R1, danced around him and kicked goals. I don't think of our backline as tackling grunt, with the exception of the oft underrated (but not here) Jetta.

We were screaming out for midfield depth at the time, I'd have gone with Angus. If we stocked up on young defenders instead, we'd be arguing that we are going back to 2012...and we need midfield depth. i haven't written off Angus just yet. He's 22 in January. Give him time.

STMJ, is that a list of stats or rather a shopping list of talent to plug the gap?
