  1. Please everyone who is going can they barrack as twice as loud, because I am unable to go because my back is putting great pressure on my groin, which is causing a lot of pain, and making it hard to walk. I am using a walker to walk, and taking pain killers. I am seeing a physio who is very happy with progress. Too hard to go with walker, and I doing exercises and plenty of walking to get better. This is the first Melbourne game I have missed at the Mcg for many years.
  2. I was going for my afternoon walk to Ghoshs Paddock and saw Mark Williams conducting what looked like a goal kicking drill with several players. The players included Gawn, Trac, Brayshaw, Spargo, and Laurie. Some ladies from Korea were watching and all the players had a photo taken with the ladies after the drill finished. Mark Williams was then had a good talk with the Korean ladies.
  3. I was going for an afternoon walk through Ghoshs Paddock and saw Clarry Oliver training on Melbourne's training ground. He was running laps and seemed in good spirits as he replied to me that he was going well. He was there with someone else and they had footballs with them. He looked in good spirits, but I am unsure how far he is behind everyone else in conditioning.

He asked what my memory was like, and I told the famous story when Vin Waite knocked him out, and Big Carl knocked out Waite. Waite got 4 weeks at tribunal, and Big Carl zero weeks.
