  1. Or Liam Reidy at Freo https://www.fremantlefc.com.au/players/4806/liam-reidy He isn’t a basketball player who might play football. He is a footballer who plays basketball as well. He played with my son at East Brighton so I’ve seen him play and he is a forward first who rucks natural footballer not a project athlete quality left foot kick.
  2. Ramsden comes in for the Hawks HFC web page 86 kgs and 203 cm his highlights are 28 dreamteam pts against bulldogs I hope I don’t regret saying this but hawks are blooding this player at least and the loss of Mitch Lewis is also a plus
  3. Quite right he’s a ruckman and they can’t magically become forwards I know I’m a forward for starters forwards are attractive charismatic…. I digress He doesn’t have the speed to get separation he doesn’t have a leap and the timing needed to play forward neither does Gawn we need ruck back up and a key forward- a fwd who rucks
  4. So wealthy that the taxpayers of the Commonwealth continue to fund them. go figure
  5. I’d like your thoughts on this. with the amount of holding going on dump kicks to. Grundy or a Gawn are unlikely to succeed and rely on crumbing Grundy / Gawn can’t get separation they don’t have the pace and repeat efforts that petty fritter and smith have the Grundy Gawn fwd experiment is a bust petty is out I would persevere with Smith what is the alternative until TMac finds form?
  6. Cats getting behind the Collingwood press too easily
  7. Or de goey
  8. Now for Elliot to do an ACL
  9. Someone lost there assignment there
  10. I’m more positive on Smith I think any fwd needs time on the park to sync with the midfield and time leads and it’s worth trying him in another role than a sub i like smith’s closing speed and defensive pressure he is more of a pack crashes than Grundy and that is good for our small forwards
  11. He is all of that and playing for a team with little success for some time and he gets dropped regularly 6ft 4 inches used to be tall now it’s midfielder size Our priorities lie elsewhere succession for Gawn tall defence and an elite fwd
  12. If its Cannae or the battle of lake trasimene and we are Carthage then we want a Punic War scenario Pyrrhus was a Greek I think though the battle was on the Italian peninsula
  13. Mcvee is in good company dusty has pantsed plenty mcvee provides invaluable pace and quality delivery off half back
  14. “Good clubs stick by good people” Kane goes with rhetoric and tries to trump logic here “good clubs sack incompetent people” could equally apply people die from brain trauma and for a doctor to not spot the symptoms of concussion that everyone could see is medical incompetence or worse
  15. This is the fourth time these points have been made
  16. It was a while ago
  17. Harmes was pretty putrid IMO
  18. Not just you old slow and rubbish below knees
  19. On today’s form I can’t see Grundy coming in i could see Jefferson as a smokey if he backs up today next week if the vfl is playing
  20. Dumb play Brodie
  21. Not good for mine gives away free kicks doesnt lead and has no leap doesnt convert you can’t make a silk purse… He’s a ruckman
  22. https://www.perthnow.com.au/sport/afl/dockers-ponder-how-to-fill-sean-darcy-ruck-void-c-11322958 Reidy, who is listed at 204cm and 104kg, tallied 39 hitouts and seven disposals in his most recent WAFL hitout. Was a fwd who can ruck and now seems to be ruck / fwd from Victoria I think we need him
