  1. Never called on 3 v 1. Umpire interpretation of words that should be black and white
  2. With a slow loopy opposite (left) footed kick that wasn’t to advantage but on Top of Oliver’s head in which he wasn’t to know who was around him. Jones’ fault
  3. That’s fifty umpire. You can’t hold up play. How do I know the rules but you [censored] don’t
  4. Hmmm. Jones fault. wasn’t a good effort from Oliver but wasn’t his fault to start with
  5. FMD umpire if you can’t bounce in the circle....call it back
  6. Weak by Oliver. Poor choice from Jones. Bad MFC football
  7. Better late than never.....but if this is all that is mentioned then it’s a disgrace that the media think the public only care about a select few clubs.
  8. Too much common sense....... the only problem.....‘stars’ will get rubbed out
  9. Whateley has a vested interest in creating a difference for his [censored] cats. I can’t believe no one in the media (Lewis aside) can see the hypocrisy.
  10. No mention on outcome.......... https://resources.afl.com.au/afl/document/2019/12/04/68a18e95-713c-4408-a269-06b2aef6db34/2019-Tribunal-Guidelines.pdf FMD.
  11. Written submission- result tomorrow https://www.afl.com.au/news/490575/afl-tribunal-tigers-to-appeal-staging-sanctions
  12. Inconsistencies: front on contact - Sparrow free against Vs Weid no free for play on - avb no call as who’s ball but still allowed to be tackled with no advantage. Pretty sure the dogs were allowed to stop play and reset. 50m penalty - dog player didn’t move after being asked by ump (from a May kickout) play on high contact - one passage had three/four but none were called. Fritta had his head taken off, no call. htb - brayshaws knock out of the pack the only one paid a free kick but so many dropping the ball when dogs were tackled.
  13. An umpire will remember this rule when a Melbourne player takes the ball in the back pocket and will be asked to align with the centre of the goal square, squashed up against the fence causing a kick into the player on the mark.
  14. We would be if the actions happened after the player disposed of the ball and it actually was a downfield infringement.
  15. Thanks sons i mentioned the melk one in game day thread, is there guidance on when players need to go ‘East West’ and when they can protect the angled pass to corridor. Happens every week - shouldn’t have been a 50 without warning. With warning, Melksham is dumb and justified. The real issue I had yesterday was with the missed frees to us. There was one passage when 4-5 frees for holding, high or htb weren’t paid but then a dubious call to the dogs was called. I don’t understand why we are held to a different standard. Every week is made harder (and frustrating for fans) with no explanation.
  16. Our outside mids and flankers looked slow, poorly skilled, dumb etc today. Why??? Because our inside mids didn’t win the ball. We were chasing from the first bounce. Their ball use was cleaner and enabled their outside players to do as they please. our outside players looked good the last few weeks, why? We won the ball in the middle.
  17. Our mids frustrate the hell out of me. It’s doesn’t matter if it’s Gawn Jackson or Pruess rucking and getting first use, our mids can’t get their hands on it, why? I don’t know what Richardson bring but if the Dees need to save some coin I would [censored] him off. Our defensive pressure is not there week in week out. We allowed the dogs to walk the ball out of our forward line. We lost the game ourselves, but I’d like to know what the impact of the missed free kicks would be. Do the players drop their heads when clear frees are/aren’t paid. I know I get annoyed when things don’t go my way. I wonder if little voices get in their heads? The fact Wallis kicked three and there were minimal changes made to make him accountable is poor coaching. the bont has it on a string often in the clear with no pressure, we have a tagger in harmes, why don’t we use him. The plan when rucking against dunkley was easy identified, drop at feet, this didn’t work once. All line coaches and Goodwin need to be held to account. thought sparrow was growing by the game. Hopefully it’s a collarbone break and not a shoulder
  18. It shouldn’t be back to the nine if the defending team kick to someone on the last line.
