The Pick 1 Thread
Norf would been keen to get Sanders in who will be available at our p6. Perhaps they will trade 3 to us for 6 and 11. We can then package 3 and F1 to the eagles for 1. I really feel like itâs a win/win/win trade. Curtin gets to the eagles plus they pick for next year which might help in pursuit of Logan McDonald or more first round talent. Norf gets their academy jet sanders, plus Mckercher/duursma and potentially OâSullivan to assist with the loss of McKay. We get Reid the icing on the cake.

Harrison Petty
That seems like he was pretty down about sticking at the Dees and it wasnât his call. He is a great player but we should absolutely trade him now if he doesnât want to be here. We will have an entire year of speculation if we donât trade him, we have seen how speculation can derail a season with Dogga. Get 10 and 14 for him.

Harrison Petty
Petty is a great player and would love to keep him at the Dees. However I think we are crazy not to consider options given he may want to leave at the end of his contract anyway. I would consider a trade along the lines of: Thilthorpe or Fogarty, 10 and McAdam for Petty and a Future 2nd yes itâs overs for Petty, but they are offering him 1 mil 2 years out from a contract. Thilthorpe or Fogarty are young enough and will develop really well with JVR. mcAdam comes across with another player which may assist in forward connection earlier, and we get another first rounder to throw at Eagles for Reid. We can cover petty down back with Disco.

Harrison Petty
Thatâs big money for Petty. Given the contract being offered and the contract status of Petty currently surely they would be paying a minimum of 2 first round picks for him

Farewell Brodie Grundy
Pretty happy with that deal over all. Farewell Brodes seemed like a great clubman, just didnât workout.

The 2023 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
Lachie Schultz apparently being approached by the pies, would love for us to have a huge crack at him, Iâm sure we could easily satisfy the dockers in a trade and he would pair perfectly with Kozzie up forward.

JJ in for Tmac Grundy for JVR SparGOAT for Gus JJ in allows Trac to play forward a lot more and Trac takes Tmacs spot. Grundy will offer a lot more in the ruck than JVR when max is off but [censored] all up forward. SparGOAT can at least deliver the ball inside 50 hopefully making Fritta and Smith more potent. Maynard must get at least four weeks
The fact of the matter is his initial jump to smother is absolutely not a footy act⊠who jumps into someone to smother? He would have had lot better chance touching the ball if he planted and jumped up, rather than toward Gus. He then decided to chose the worst of three options he had whilst in the air. Creating maximum force to the worst place to hit someone. this needs to be a minimum of 4 weeks. He absolutely meant to make contact with Gus. It was his choice to run and jump directly into him, brace and collect him front on in the head. Letting him off would set a VERY ugly precedent allowing players to launch at anyone with the ball front on and do whatever they want âbecause they are in the airâ with zero ramifications.
