Toss up between Smith and Langford at 5 such different players. I think I would lean towards Langford has just a hint of Bont about him. Smith would likely go to the Tigers at 6. We would be left with either Smillie, Travagalia or Reid at 9 after the 2 Saints selections.

This situation is only a [censored] show because of the over the top media reports. I have full faith in the club to make the right call regarding Clarry, if he is traded there would be a very valid reason, especially if he is traded away for such little trade value. If we think we can make it work we will get our champion player back. This is the same football department that netted us 3 top four finishes in the last 4 years and flag. They know what they are doing and most of all they know the nature of the relationships and dynamics within the club. Yes we have had some misses at the trade table the last 3 years but we have continued to draft very well. Your not going to get every trade right and it’s not like we have thrown mega contracts at complete spuds (Grundy only didn’t work because we have the greatest ever ruckman on our list already) Have some faith, what will be will be and whatever decision is made I’m sure it’s the right one.

Was a fantastic interview, he was the ultimate progressional especially with the little [censored] Tom Morris in the room. Handled himself fantastically and was open and honest, spoke with a real calmness and was very solution focused. Compare that to Bevo… he couldn’t control himself after losing a round 1 match and let loose on Morris. Perhaps Goody is the right man to navigate use through this turbulence

Is this the first ever trade formal trade request which has happened in season? It’s refreshing, and honestly this feels like it’s being handled professionally by all parties. Wish this could have been the case with Jackson

Perhaps him and his partner have really struggled in early parenthood? It takes a village to raise a family, Nibblers connection is in SA. He gave his all for 10 years and was part of the flag he has done his time
