I guess my concern of finals hub in Perth is the quality/saftey/look of the surface grand final day after playing 8 finals in the 3 week lead up to the granny. I'd love for Vic to kick this delta variants [censored] and reclaim the granny like they deserve. Second best option would be QLD imo, not just because I'd cheer for 100 demons supporters but because we have two afl grounds here to hold a finals hub. Top 4 teams play their finals at the Gabba. 5-8 at metricon Semis played at metricon With prelims and granny at the Gabba. *assuming we also kick this delta variants [censored]*

Incredibly unlucky imo..... I don't doubt what he did was stupid and was a poor look but let's not forget Viney didn't initiate the contact here. The AFL is so inconsistent with these cases he has been dealt the harshest penalty than any like for like case and he was the only one to be dragged and held down by the other player. I think he is incredibly stiff.

If viney seriously gets 2+ weeks for this then selwood will never be able to play again.

I was one who was suggesting a rest for LJ and surely you can see the reasons why, the bloke had hardly touched the ball in a month! Glad he had a ripping game but not sure why you would take pot shots at posters who was suggesting the need for a rest given his dramatic form slump prior to yesterday. It's pretty easy to hold back you opinion until after the event and claim you knew he was going to turn it around the whole time.

So if we play tomorrow it will need to be really early so we can get a flight to Perth to serve our 7 day quarantine in time for a Sunday night game the following week? We should just stay in Melbourne as the Eagles are already here and play at their choice or venue in vic ;)

Sorry old dee.. but that was without a doubt one of the worst most biased umpiring against us I have ever seen. I really suggest you go back and watch some of the calls, non calls and [censored] make up as they go calls we were subjected to in that game. (I have) Look at how often we got pinned for down the field free kicks with the slightest contact, and have a look how many were paid our way. Have a look at the how HTB was educated so differently between the two sides. Have a look how little contact needed to be made at the bottom of a pack for a free to be called against us with non coming our way. That game was 100% determined by the umpiring. Either they are completely incompetent at their job or their was direction for the dogs to win.
