  1. Sorry LH just re/read your post I liked that you raised the point re the FD review, we certainly need an update as to where it has progressed to I guess I reacted to the inference that it may have been a sham given the coverage that it received post season. Sorry.
  2. Thanks DD our stats are deplorable such a big drop off for our bottom eight players, agree JV needs to be managed, Sparrow, JvR, Spargs, Henderson, Melksham ( sub), is Windsor still sore, if not get him back on the wing. Time for Disco, Jefferson or Fullarton to get a run, Pup Brown and Seston could not play worse.
  3. Totally agree chookrat when you only have 12-14 players solidly contributing against bummers 16-18 players working hard, you have no hope. Time for drastic change, our bottom 6-8 players wouldn’t be missed. Give those players at Casey that are working hard a chance to have a crack.
  4. Sorry I missed Kozzie always dangerous kicked two, as did Fritta but we need more.
  5. 6 - Max Gawn 50 hit outs (one howler) 5 - Ed Langdon great game 4 - Jake Bowey playing with assurance 3 - Christian Salem brave and consistent 2 - Christian Petracca mini fightback 1 - Clayton Oliver on his way back The mini fwd line failed miserably aided by our inaccuracy in front of goal, we had our chances but overall Bummers out marked, outran and dismantled our game plan.
  6. When do they announce the Sub, trying to get interested, any chance of a late change?
  7. Trouble is KC we have Fullarton who is more a fwd, we picked up AJ who at 193cm is a bitsa, Tom Campbell for 1 year in case Max is injured, who is currently injured and Will Verrall who is still a way off.
  8. I know that it has been mentioned previously on numerous occasions But we desperately need a youngish Ruckman 200-206cm and a tallish forward who can mark and kick the ball accurately. I truely hope that we are scanning all states for a couple of talls that we can effectively develop And a specialist Fwd coach that can school all our forwards in basic fwd craft. I know that we may get a gooden in Kalani White but he may take a year or two.
  9. What do you think we should be doing differently Redleg, apart from the bleeding obvious winning games. What is happening behind the scenes??
  10. I can see where he is coming from he’s getting his premiership boys together, 15 in this team, missing Rick plus 8. My only concern is that we have no height on the bench, I would have had Disco, Jeffo or Cream on the bench. If we lose a tall we are screwed.
  11. He doesn’t play for us.šŸ˜šŸ‘
  12. Which tall on the bench helps Max and covers injuries.????
  13. We sure did as Maysie said it was a successful interstate business trip.šŸ˜šŸ‘
  14. Fantastic news for Bailey and Natalie with the birth of baby Noah, May help explain a few things, it’s such a big deal having your first bub.šŸ‘šŸŒø
  15. Just finished listening to the podcast, thanks Andy, Binman, George and all contributors you covered a lot of territory. We are in a lot of trouble but I agree that we need to press on with the new game plan and we need to get a better tactician up in the box, we really do miss Adem Yze’s management and guidance, especially with a couple of new coaches and I don’t think that learning the ropes is the best way to learn coaching at AFL level. A great listen but so many problems, hopefully getting a few more young guns who can kick may bring us all a bit of joy going forward.šŸ˜šŸ‘
  16. Don’t disagree totally SWYL but we missed a number of opportunities and burned a few players due to poor decisions by their teammates.
  17. The coach or are our players not looking inboard and making an easy pass to a player making space to open up the game, selfish, dumb football. Not rewarding a teammate’s efforts or not trusting their ability to make the kick.
  18. Better than Melbourne Storm. lol.šŸ˜šŸ‘
  19. I’m with the rest of you Tom Fullarton deserves a run of games, Fwd pocket, CHF/Ruck, don’t care who comes out for him. Maybe Disco down back?
  20. Big thanks to Ghostwriter, Kev Martin and all posters, sounds like all our young brigade in Kolt, Judd, Jeffo and perhaps Lindsay are ready to play but that is bad news on Rick. Still I would rather him get that troublesome ankle sorted out so he can get back to his best. Some tougher calls this week I hope.
  21. Petty, Spargo and Sharp were annoyingly poor so all three need a taste of Casey until they show that they are trustworthy. Depending on who is fit I would hope for :- lever / Adam’s for Petts Fullarton CHF needs to be rewarded and we need JvR out of the ruck Brown in for Spargo he runs hard and tackles with intent (10 tackles) Seriously consider Seston and Verall If any of Lindsay, McVee or Tholstrup were available I would have them back in as well.
  22. 48,401 slowly sneaking up towards 50,000, I thought it would be a significant drop off but not to this magnitude our current form is not helping our numbers. Will be lucky to reach 58,000.
  23. Thanks for your efforts DD it appears that some of our veterans are really struggling with the new game plan do you think JV is more suited to our old crash and bash contest game style. We have an ingrained contest to contest game style and now are looking for a fast transition game relying on a more skilled subset, I’m thinking the young brigade will adopt quicker than our older players. I think that we need to enjoy the happier environment and now concentrate on getting our fitness and skills up to scratch.
  24. They have always played that game style Roost it, chipping around in the backline waiting for a loose man but we used to be able to score on turn over so it didn’t matter that they always had a stack of uncontested possessions and marks. What I don’t understand is why can’t we revert to a more close checking game plan when required to close them down allowing opponents to have 17 uncontested marks is ludicrous.šŸ˜šŸ‘
  25. DD is that our lowest ever team score? The new game plan is pretty shizen, looking at the coaches box last night didn’t give me any confidence that they have a handle on our situation. They beat us in all kpi’s, they played keepies off racking racking up uncontested possessions in our forward line all night and we were powerless to stop them.
