New Captain
This is actually a very pertinent comment. I can’t think of one club. Even Carlton has Cripps. Maybe Gold Coast,

New Captain
It has to be Max. At a minimum he’ll be a co-captain but I’d prefer if he was sole captain.

Concerned about Jack
He’s become our Richie Vandenberg. Apart from being a tough player, I don’t know what he offers. He has no weapons by foot, he’s a bad decision maker also. i just struggle to see how we can have a captain who’s supposed to lead by example but then makes bad decisions and turns it over. It’s hypocritical if he pulls another guy into line when he’s doing it himself. We just need one captain in 2020, and it’s Max Gawn.

POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
All their goals came at the top of the goal square pretty much. I can’t recall one difficult set shot they nailed. That’s a coaching thing.

POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
I can’t remember a more inept forward line for such a long time. Also, the play on at all costs needs to be thrown out during the bye. It’s not a winning formula. Just drop it and formulate something better with this list.

GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Placing all our chips on Tmac is a good as investment as Enron. What a disaster.

GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
They are hands down the worst.

I think he was named as an emergency but obviously lower down the ladder to be recalled of the 4.

That would be a handy out.

I don’t mind the Cox in. Reid had been ok for them and Cox has had a number of weeks off. I would have been more worried about Reid as he’s a pretty smart footballer. It also might be a bit slippery due to morning showers. Frost will take Cox Lever on Mihocek May on De Goey Stephenson is a bit of a worry, due to his speed. I think Hibbing will take him.

Goody Presser (6/6)
Definitely looks like nerves - he wasn’t like that at all last year so it must be about the perceived pressure. Hopefully he starts to feel better. Also noticed that he’s sitting as another poster has mentioned, so potentially finds that a bit easier.

Too Empathetic?
No way. Beating someone up after they know they've had a poor shot on goal just drives more fear and anxiety into the next time it happens. Gawn, Smith, Garlett also missed easy shots. Gawn's miss against Geelong in round 1 was considerably worse. It was closer in, dry ball. Just a shank kick.

Max Gawn's season
If he gets the ruck AA, just watch all the Collingwood ferals lose it. They all think Brodie Grundy is head and shoulders above the rest and they're still bitter about Gawn getting the first ruck choice in the AA team last year.

POSTGAME: Rd 11 vs Adelaide
I think ProDee stopped posting after the Saints game. He read the writing on the wall for this season.

CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Serious question, but is there a compelling reason to go to this game? Collingwood home game, any general admin tickets go to their coffers. We’re also likely to lose. I feel this could be an 80-20 crowd split this game.

POSTGAME: Rd 11 vs Adelaide
That is an insult from Goody - Adelaide were horrible. We completely dominated them. They only really had two players stand up; Lynch and Crouch. The misses were terrible, but they kicked 16.4 which means they had a lot of chances deep into the 50 which points to poor defence. I agree our kicking for goal cost us the game - but we shouldn’t have let them kick 5 in a row - and a lot of those being from players like oMac losing a 1 on 1. Who was playing on Lynch by the way? That’s two times in a row he’s come back from injury and was BoG against us. If we had nullified him we would have been 50pts up in the 3rd qtr.

Time to go Oscar!
I don’t like player bashing but he is the definition of a liability. Some of his defensive efforts on Jenkins were woeful.

At least Weid took the contested mark. It was just lucky he marked it. It was a kick in hope from Wagner. Games of football are made up of 1000s of moments, that miss didn’t cost us the game. It was all those other misses put together that cost us the game. Bad set shots on goal cost you games as so evident tonight. Im so glad I’ll probably never see Oscar McDonald in a Melbourne jumper though. Can’t wait to welcome back May and Lever. Also, oMac should have never been on Jenkins - Frost should have.
