The balance of the side was quite good last week.

I reckon a strong midfield that can keep posession is the best way to draft. Still confident that once may, lever are fit and joel smith, we will have a better idea.

Weid should stick it out.... there is really nobody else in s forward structure for the long term, not smith or keilty. Maybe a working through a tough spell will make him a better footballer. Time will tell.

What about thinking missing finals is not an option.But it is, i watched the replay of the richmond game, pretty much saw Weideman give up at most contests arround a ball up. If i was the coach, i would tell him to line up someone and take them out, cop the suspension and come back to the game with a taste for physical pressure.Stupid article that shows our fragile mentality.Recruiting Patton maybe similar to other recruits, large price tag that rarely gets on the field.I would still like to put pettraca onto a half back flank to get some run of the backline. I would be tempted to put hore forward as a more dangerous marking option that may create some problems for opposition defensive structures. At somestage they will have to take a punt on some younger players to see how they respond.
