I think the problem is when you finish deep into the season, it takes longer to get injuries sorted. We just had a bad run in 2022 and a good run in 2021. That is where we fell off.

That didn't stop people commenting. All those comments were made by various users. Fritch wasn't on an AFL list at 18. Jefferson might smash it down at Casey.

Watts could have been a great player, but it was the mental side he lacked. Just didn't want to train hard. We know nothing off Jefferson or how he will develop. Comparing him to someone who just didn't have any drive to be better is silly.

I can remember those against recruiting Fritch. "Cale Morton comparisons, jack watts 2.0, too skinny, too slow. Hard to see where he will fit into the side." Recruiting him was a deesaster for the Bulldogs.
