Not even my logic, but I agree with it. I think if an external review is deemed necessary, it would demonstrate a damning lack of faith in those who hold the important positions within the club. Conversely, the lack of an external review, or an internal review, would indicate at least a moderate appreciation for the abilities of those people. Allowing and enabling the cobblers to cobble, so to speak.

For our dear little friends O & SK, et al: https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/afl-2019-the-flawed-methodology-behind-adelaide-crows-external-review/news-story/865e60ba3a611cd937dad441eb420975 Of particular note: Do we see now?
-
Well if Adelaide has done it, it must be the correct course of action!
-
Officially yes, however the league lets you do pretty much whatever you want to a degree. It’s easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

This is where I have my doubts (I’ll stop short of saying “call [censored]”). Lewis has been bent on forgin a media career after footy, since before he came to the club. Other fractures may have appeared, but that is common in club land, and most will be mended. Some may not. Cest la vie.

This is all crap. The cats may be “into him” but the chances of Petracca leaving this year are Buckley’s.
-
God no. You obviously have no idea what he’s been up to or what lead to him leaving MFC.
-
Simpson & Clarkson? You’d like them to take a demotion to come to MFC from their current head coaching positions? We had Roos, and he had no desire to continue in the position, and it would only serve to undermine Goodwin or anyone else for that matter, considering he personally held the head coach position himself. Or Lyon, Malthouse, and Choco, all 3 of which would be actively harbouring desires to fill a new head coaching position themselves, again undermining Goodwin (or any other head coach’s) standing and authority. You’re clearly far too clever for the rest of us mate. Well done.
-
Heard nothing, but it wouldn’t surprise me too much of the cats were sniffing around. I know in the first half of the season they were pretty hopeful on Jeremy Cameron, but that has fizzled, probably due to Coniglio leaving & GWS now being able to cough up the cash Cameron would be chasing. I thought the cats would chase Brad Hill as a direct replacement for Kelly. Hill’s presence being the reason why Kelly wouldn’t consider Freo previously.

Unsurprising based on their collective performances this year? There’ll be a few nibbles, but I doubt we’ll lose anyone we’d miss dearly.
-
Is this what passes for comedy these days?
-
Exit interviews Monday morning. You’d expect the club to be professional and make sure the players concerned are the first to know.
-
Ok then Einstein, who is this mythical candidate for the director of coaching with the exemplary track record that you speak of? Who should Mahoney have signed? Obviously Richo is not good enough for you, so you must have someone in mind. All ears here champ.
-
I don't want to come across insensitive here, but I think Green now has his hands full looking after his young boys. I wouldn't expect him to be seeking an assistant coach role anytime too soon.
-
He’s also contending that we have no leverage this year in contrast to last year, although last year he was contracted and now he is out of contract. I’d say understanding this caper is not his strong suit.
-
I don’t particularly care where North have chosen to play him.
-
No. I think he is worth a crack and the price would be fair.

Dees to meet with AFL Commission after disastrous 2019
Mach5 replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
No one seemed to believe it, or they wrote it off as bleeding bloody obvious? Considering our performance on field this season, the consequent lower attendances, etc. you’d have to be shocked if it wasn’t the case. -
Ok, you’re implying his role changed as a result of Smith’s complaints or because he was not competent, which is again, just plain wrong. It’s amateurish and it’s embarrassing.
-
I’d think he’d be a perfect target for us to assist with our forward line. Coming into the right age bracket, could be a value acquisition. caveat: not heard anything about him, just like the prospect.
-
Mate, it’s not even a coherent argument from you. You’ve sarcastically implied we ignored Shaun Smith’s complaints, and then within the same sentence implied that Misson has left the club as a result of what led to those (erroneous) complaints (although we apparently ignored them). Wake up.
-
You have got to be joking. I’ve seen plenty of rubbish recently, but this is next level. You’re completely re-writing events of a few months ago! Misson has been leaving of his own accord for some time.

Lewy already diving headfirst into his media career.
