Another question is because Schwarz was such a star forward I am interested to hear why maybe the club hasn't gotten him down to do some part time mentoring role with Jesse Hogan and even Jack Watts maybe?

Was talking to a 50 year old Essendon supporter today and obviously we got talking about the whole WADA situation. Anyways to cut story short he mentioned that Mlebourne was his 2nd favourite team and he'll buy a membership for us this year and has completely lost faith in his club. But one thing he raved on about was how good David Schwarz was good back in his hey day when he was in full flight especially in 1994. He said he rated him above Wayne Carey by a length because of his speed and Ariel work in the air. I started supporting the dees in 1998 when I moved to Australia as an 8 year and so I missed all of his best work, so just wanted to know how good really was the Ox? Is it that true that if it wasn't for injury he would have been on par with Carey?

From all then training reports I have read it seems Trengove is ready to play and moving really well. Just a matter of getting the green light.

The big issue I have is 6 years on an AFL list to work on this and yet we have seen zero improvement. That's my biggest worry. I'm sure coaches and staff are working with him I get that, But the big fear I have is that it might cost us big time in the near future when we are playing off in finals and the pressure goes through the roof.

Um WTF? No one has remotely mentioned anything about delisting him except you mate which was just a bizarre question from the very start. And no you wouldn't delist him because he is a good defender. Again no one has questioned that at all, Do you actually understand that? He needs to learn to do the basic thing we are taught from auskick and improve his decision making or else it will get shown out come finals time! Seriously is it that hard for some of you to actually understand the simple point im trying to make?

Test himself for what exactly? You people are seriously missing the point. First of all it isn't going to change at all against St Kilda and magically start drilling low fat 40m kicks. His last 2 weeks has been appalling with his ball use. Not to mention that for 6 years he hasn't improved his kicking and decision making one bit. He is not an intelligent player at all.
