Agree with everything you just said Steve. I too was worried after the doggies game and knew right after that match we were always going to get exposed badly for our lack of speed on the outside. But you spoke up about this exact issue back then and got absolutely howled down for it because it was a 'practise match'. Your also wasting your time on Garland.. Been saying it for years what a liability he is to our team.. but apparently he has good leadership blah blah blah.....

I did and shook my head completely. It was cringeworthy. Even in country footy we dont get away with that [censored]. Whats worse is that at one stage Bugg was manning Daniher while McDonald was guarding space up the field. McDonald paid no respect to Daniher at all throughout the day. Down the other end the experience Gwilt kept Hogan under his glove and took him right out the game.

We talk about leadership problems and McDonald and Garland are two prime examples of this. When you continue to turn the ball over and make simple characteristics mistakes then how are the other players suppose to look up to these guys and say i want to follow you?

While i have lauded our recent drafting in the last couple of years the one i have felt we lacked was drafting speed as well. Its fine to draft a team full of competitors but when Tomas Bugg is playing as a wingman (he is a plodder who lacks pace) then you know you are just simply going to be killed on the outside which we have the last 2 weeks.

Honestly whats the point. Il just get shouted down by the usual same people. Its not even a situation of 'I told you so!' but the fact people are so blinded how incredibly liability he is to us when he doesn't keep it simple.. I think im just repeating myself.

Didn't butcher it during field play like he did a couple of times last week but jeez he just had to kick those..Same with Brayshaw. He wont get dropped.
