He was an absolute gun midfielder in his junior days and i expect in a few years he'll run through the midfield at some stage. Especially Goodwins mantra of having versatility in todays game.

No, theres not much left. Some spud named Alex Sexton made him look silly last week and turned him inside out far too easily. If we're to go deep in Finals, Bernie in my opinion will get found put for his pace down back. His skills have rapidly dropped down and just picks up easy touches from kicking put. Bernie in my eyes will go down as a MFC great. Came to the club at ots lowest point and has provided leadership and lockeroom maturity.

I've spent time at under 18 level with Spargo. Picket is right in a way. Hes definitely not the quickest out there. With his lack of pace he makes ip for it with his incredible work rate and gut running. Caleb Daniel is not quick either, but like Spargo their workrates are never questioned.

Absolute thug and a weak as [censored] of a bloke is Matthews. Especially after hearing Bruns has tried numerous times to sit down with Leigh and talk it over but yet Matthew refuses to front up to him. Weak as [censored].

Last year against them we didn't have Nathan Jones, Jeff Garlett, Jesse Hogan, Angus Brayshaw, Christian Salem, Bayley Fritsch, Charlie Spargo and Aaron Vandenberg.. While their side is actually not too similar to the one they have this weekend. It wont let me upload a screen shot from last years line ups, but our side for the weekend is levels above last years! No excuses this week!

Good thread. I think Kent will ask for a trade. Johnstone, King, Fillapovic, Mckenna, Bugg will all be delisted. Vince will retire. Pederson could potentially get picked up by either Carlton or GC for depth (handy depth too) if not, then he'll most likely just retire. Tyson and Frost are both contracted for next year and are in our starting 22 and playing important roles. Cant see them leaving, especially Tyson who i think will definitely stay now with uncertain future of Viney. Tim Smith, JKH, and Keilty will all be offered 1 year deals. Smith did not start full training till February this year, so I'd like to give him an injury free pre season and have him sitting their for depth. I also feel like Keilty has been so dam close to debut that unfortunately when the opportunity has opened, hes just either had a niggle or missed games. JKH has improved his pressure and defensive side hugely. I honestly still think there's definitely a spot for him on thag half forward wing position. Spargo is starting to tire out.. so I'd move JKH back to a forward pocket and let him harrass and chase all day.

I know this might rub s fee up wrongly, but i would take the co-captain tag off him to just let him focus on his body and see if we can actually nut out 22 games from him. Make Gawn co-captain along with Jonesy.
