I would take the risk. Joel Smith in my opinion will be a great talent once he gets more experience and education. But he's very very shaky at times and I fear that hes still a deer in the headlights, especially now that we need to win crucial games. Let him develope the rest of the year at Casey and let's focus on him having a being 2019 pre season injury free. I just feel Jayden Hunt can be an x factor for us come finals time. His speed and ability to break the lines is something we've missed from him this year.

I reckon he's in serious consideration, yes his form has been poor this year but and up and firing Jayden Hunt could be the key to our road to success! If it's one game I think we can get away with him being underdone but also gain match fitness then this would be it.. For me I'd bring in Hunt for Smith.

I strained my hammy earlier this year and missed 2 weeks,. If you do everything right in terms of rehab and conditioning then you can make it back in 2 weeks instead of your usual 3-4.. My biggest issue is why did they send him out again when they knew he strained earlier on...?‍♂️ Our medical team annoys me..

I watched this kid do some ball work with Daniel Cross the other week and when it came to the kicking, he was kicking low flat 30m bullets straight onto Crossy.. not only was his kicking hitting targets with ease, but he had such a fluent kicking action. They did one drill where he would have his back towards Cross and then whistle would blow and he would spin around and nail a 30m kick each time. Dont remember him missing a target at all. I know he's years away from being AFL ready, but he's definitely got the right tool set to succeed if he wants it. Very bullish, but quietly reckon we have a good prospect on our hands.
