Jake Lever.. Can someone explain??
No he was no where to be seen in round 1 as well. Some of his 2018 games were pretty ordinary. I'll cut him some slack for last year as he was coming back from a knee injury. All I am asking is what exactly is role? A dude on a fat size contract, I expect better return of services.

CHANGES: Rd 03 vs Essendon
I dont see why we can't play all 3 of Jackson, McDonald and Weideman. Yet instead of having a skinny half forward flanker at full forward why not stick Weid or McDonald down there instead. Use Jacko as the backup ruckman, and leave Weid and McDonald as genuine key forwards. Jackson showed there is something to work with. Feel like that more game time and experience the better. Gotta get Kossi and Vanders in there as well.

What exactly is his role in this team? We gave up two 1st round draft picks for someone plays zero accountable football. Needs to give more.

Melbourne the odd one out?
I swear I thought Justin Plapp was our forwards coach? Think back to Hell and Back when he was coaching Pickett.

Jordan Lewis also said this on his radio commentary last night.

Agree mate. For him to actually take the next step he needs to show more then just playing as a loose defender. With his current body size I do worry though. Still looks like a take.

"I hope that anyone who has attended that [protest], and indeed across Victoria, who develop symptoms that are compatible with coronavirus really need to isolate themselves, get tested, get that result back and become well before they get out and about again," Professor Sutton said.

NON MFC: Round 02
Up there as one of the worst games I've watched since our 2009 game against Adelaide on a cold Sunday night at the G. Interestingly Jamie Elliot who we chased really hard in the off season had just 5 disposals for the game.

Exactly what they are. I would back Omac to easily account McKay. Lever when playing one on one footy has been badly exposed. I fear this will happen to him if matched up on either Casboult or McKay.

Yes and no. Had no problems shutting the bigger a s experienced Darling down in round 1.

Did Mahoney explain the reason behind Omac omission? Carlton have a 204cm McKay, and 201cm Casboult up forward. Our tallest defender is 195cm tall who is Jake Lever... I must admit I'm a bit surprised he got dropped.
