  1. Did I say he had committed to the pies did I? Can you actually show this direct quote? You're the only [censored] that mentioned anything remotely of Petracca leaving. Stop trying to put words in my mouth. Go back and actually read what I was replying to. It actually had nothing to do with Petracca at all but more so that Collingwood will continue to bring in players regardless of what went on during the trade period. You embarrassed yourself over the trade period when you threw several darts but didn't land any and now you're embarrassing yourself with this post.
  2. I think every club will ask about Trac. He's borderline about to explode and clubs will find a way to fit him in regardless. Key forwards are good, but when you have a guy that is potentially similar to Dusty in the way he influences games then I think I know what type of player I'd rather.
  3. They initially tried him half back at VFL level and found that he wasn't cutting it in that position before he got shifted to the midfield mid year. He had some success there, but wasn't big midfield numbers. The issue is its all good that he's being trained up to be an i side mid, then out of the names of Oliver, Petracca, Viney, Brayshaw, Langdon, Harmes and Sparrow who does he replace? Sparrow is already well developed ahead of him and that's maybe who i could see coming in for a game or two. I just can't see how he fits in. Add in the two 1st rounders we are about to add on our list who I think will be most likely outside mids then again, its difficult to see how he makes it at AFL level.
  4. Pretty sure he's brother works for a different player management company and doesn't manage Christian?

  6. That's not going to stop players from going to the pies mate. They're a big club. They'll naturally attract good players.
  7. As someone that's known this kid and his since primary school (he's my brothers closest mates from up my hometown of Yarrawonga) I try and stay out of any talk regarding Jimmy Jordan. But to answer your question, I don't know whether he has a contract on offer and it seems likely imo now that he will go around for another year. But in my honest opinion I don't see him making it. He'll be depth at best. A few locals were shocked that he was drafted so high as we thought maybe rookie at best, or undrafted. I know he got drafted on the back of some pretty decent school games at Caufield Grammar so it's obvious that Jason Taylor and his team see something in him. All up to our coaching staff now.
  8. We can also happily pick out the amount of blunders you've had on here too if you'd like? And you've had your fair share trust me. Why this thread needed to be brought up from 2 years ago I have no idea.
  9. Had this nickname since about 2004 when I first started demonland.. #loyal And yes I have no life....
  10. I think they were always just going to take him as a delisted free agent and day bypass the trade period.
  11. In fairness Patches this was reported 2 weeks ago towards end of trade period.
  12. I would like to think the club as a whole, staff players, coaches etc would be the ones that would help keep kozzi.. Why do we need to rely on brothers and cousins?
  13. Look, I'm with @JimmyGadson on this one. I think its an indictment on the club that he's played 81 games. Towards the end of 2016 I raised concerns that he'd need to really improve his awareness and improve his intensity and hunger for the contests. I was then shocked to find in the early round of 2017 that he had not improved this one bit or rectifiedby the coaches. Yet the club continued to persist every week on the back of poor form. What was also telling was opposition forwards worked him out and exposed him through the zone set up out the back for his slow reactive play and turning speed. The recruitment of Steven May showed the coaching staff finally woke up and realised a backline of Frost and McDonald was never ever going to take us to the promise land. I do wish him all the best and he's switched. I do think he'll add depth to a club that needs a role player some weeks.
  14. Lol.. I always think back to this article years back. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.perthnow.com.au/sport/melbourne-demons/melbourne-midfielder-angus-brayshaw-sheds-four-kilograms-for-afl-return-ng-661ecd77c52a35d78c556079306a4191.amp
  15. Jesus.. we are trying to get better not worse.
  16. Doesn't surprise me. Petracca has the Jeremy Howe about him..
  17. I thank Oscar for his services over the journey. I wish him all the best for the future and think Port Adelaide would be a perfect fit for a key back as they are undersized down in that department. His papers were stamped after that Port Adelaide game, but club and player move on now. Anyone checked on @binman?
  18. I've had a bit to do with Zav through the bushies. The kid can certainly play, and has enormous upside. Can see him late 1st early 2nd round.
  19. They will be coming hard after Merrett and Petracca.
  20. Hope he's given another chance next year. He's got the tools, just needs to put it all together.
