Cody Weightman (Drafted by Western Bulldogs)
dazzledavey36 replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
Absolutely @rjay! There will be games where he'll be rested, but for me he just needs to play as much games as possible. Him and Jacko gaining more experience so early can only be good for their development. -
Pm me please SWYL

Inagine when he builds a tank and is 80 games in. Some of his glimpse reminds me so much of the Wiz.. -
Very good Pickett. Back to his 2018 form.

I could easily write about the performance of our Hollywood midfield. But instead I am going to make special mention of Oscar McDonald. I've been incredibly hard on this kid but he's proved me wrong and making me eat humble pie. He's a complete different player and it's no coincidence that May and Lever are back to their best. Well done Oscar, you've shut me up for good. Kozzie and Jackson are going to be something else huh...

We were about 5 goals when we did that. I immediately said to my missus that was legit the first time I've seen the coach actually show some anger. I personally loved it!

Weightman will be good. But Kozzie will be [censored] brilliant. -
We got challanged and rose again. Well done boys Oliver having some game.

Yes. Best he's played in a long time. Lockhart is doing the lockdown role while Nev has been left off the leash

This is shades of 2018

Jacko showing glimpse. Love it. Pickett already causing headaches up forward.

Smart recruiting and a coach that plays players to their strengths. They've sped right right past us alright.

Can't say I'm confident of a win today. Its typical of Clarko to come out and make a statement today after being smashed all week.

If he did would that have changed your opinion? Point out what Weightman did on Friday night that Pickett hasn't already done? -
The official I love Dom Tyson thread
dazzledavey36 replied to JackVineyForPresident's topic in Melbourne Demons
I feel for Dom. I would have easily kept him as depth and last year he would have easily played a lot of games if fit. I honestly thought after his 2014 year, he was going to go on to become a 200 game workhorse for this club. He ended up playing 94 games for this club which is a great achievement in itself. I am sure the club will always welcome him back with open arms for future functions I hope Dom can get his body right and play some solid games for the Roos. An outstanding individual off field also.- 304 replies

Imagine being Tom Scully. You play at 3 clubs where you're remotely never going to be welcomed back for any future player functions, or part of any 100 game club where you receive life membership at the club.. You'll always be a loner Scully.- 149 replies

Cody Weightman (Drafted by Western Bulldogs)
dazzledavey36 replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
The club did trial this in the last two games of 2019 @Pennant St Dee but unfortunately not to much success. I think why its worked well for Daniel is because of his aerobic power and also low gravity strength. If you watch Daniel, he barely gets pushed off the ball that easily. Unfortunately Spargo is the opposite to all that. I still think his best footy at junior days was when he was playing as a genuine midfielder then resting up forward. I remember his attack on the ball and the contest was manic in the same way as Viney. I believe this is why Goodwin loves him as that pressure small forward at this stage. -
Cody Weightman (Drafted by Western Bulldogs)
dazzledavey36 replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
Agree, but Picket had more scoring shots then Weightman in his debut. I'm just shaking my head that people are already calling this trade a bust because Weightman kicked 2 goals last night. I watched the whole game and besides his 2 goals he did nothing. Didn't even lay a tackle last night at all. Pickett nearly took mark of the century against Richmond but you won't hear anything about that from our own supporters. -

Err did you miss Pickett's debut game where he kicked 2.2? -

Cyril v Elliot? I know who I'd be taking..... -
Weightman is more of a lead of forward like Elliot. We have Hannan and Fritsch already in that role.

Obviously didn't watch last week when they were rubbish. I am also intrigued who these so called genuine stars??
