Trade Targets
I don't use this term on Melbourne players but I will with McHenry.. He is a genuine spud, please do not go near him. We're trying to improve our list, not make it worse with crabs like McHenry.

2024 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Yeah I feel Sims has been underrated throughout the year. Wouldn't mind picking him if he'd still there later down the track.

2024 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Shanahan and Armstrong are way ahead of him as a forward prospect.

2024 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Taura is not what we need. The other 3 fit the bill though.

Wade Derksen
Pretty sure that's the main reason for the trade. Just had twins and there is zero family support for them up in Sydney where as Wade has family down in Melbourne.

Wade Derksen
Heard the interview with Jason McCartney this morning. He was very adamant that Derksen would not be traded. Disappointing as I was one who was excited with his potential and ability.

Saints now have picks 7 and 8. Would the Saints come for Oliver knowing that either those picks would get the deal done?- The Cooper Hynes Thread
I'd add Tholstrup to that mix also. Hynes and one of those other elite junior mids keeps us contending for another few years.- The Cooper Hynes Thread
Thanks to @layzie for providing me full article of draft propsect from The Age. When I was reading through this one pricked my ears. 27. Cooper Hynes Dandenong Stingrays/Vic Metro Midfielder/forward, 190cm, 28/2/2006 Talent League stats (avg): 23.7 disposals, 4.7 clearances, 1.5 goals The Age’s August top 30: N/A Hynes makes his debut in our rankings after an eye-catching season where his powerful and aggressive playing style drew comparisons with ex-North Melbourne captain Jack Ziebell and current Roo Cam Zurhaar. West Coast and Melbourne are two of his biggest fans, but there are other clubs that would not consider him in this draft range. Hynes’ endurance will need to improve if he is to play any meaningful midfield minutes in the AFL, but his forward craft and clearance work are rated highly. He and Langford provided a strong one-two punch for the Stingrays. @Adam The God This would make sense if we're trying to get an early pick in the teens as Hynes would be our clear target. A combination of a O'Sullivan/Langford/Lalor and Hynes would be mouth watering.- Oliver Trade Rumours
You say some bizarre things but sure this is a genuine pisstake right?- 2024 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch

Can you post full article please?- David Teague Approached as Assistant
Jimmy Allen was a natural ball magnet whatever level he played. A gun footballer at suburban/semi professional level.- Oliver Trade Rumours
I agree, it's been handled extremely poorly. Start off by getting rid of Pert for starters. This wouldn't be handled so poorly under Peter Jacksons and Josh Mahoneys watch. Look at the way we professionally handled the Jack Watts and Jesse Hogan scenario. - Oliver Trade Rumours
