  1. Well yeah I worded that wrong. Imo I personally think he's ready full stop.
  2. Agree to disagree. Could mount a strong case why I think he's potentially ready for AFL action but I can't be [censored] lol. Looking forward to watching him tonight though and a few others pushing for selection.
  3. 194cm aggressive key forward who loves nothing but to crash packs and launch at the footy. From a physical size point of view he's ready to go, It'll be more around the step up in terms of AFL intensity and match fitness. Not only that, he's got some serious jukes on him for such a young kid. His contesting marking was elite at under 18 level and from what I've seen of him this year that's carried into VFL level. His stats alone at VFL level this year speaks for itself. 10 games 20.7 goals and averaging 4.3 marks per game. Small glimpse.
  4. Still concussed from the Melksham jab.
  5. These stats explain absolutely nothing. @Turner asked for a valid reason why these blokes should stay on the list and you've put up these meaningless stats with no explanation?
  6. I get the frustrating with some with him leaving. He played a factor in our drought winning premiership and I'll always thank him for giving me that premiership joy. It's disappointing that he'll potentially leave, but the way I look at this I think this could be a huge advantage for our playing list moving forward. I'm a huge believer that if we are to continue to challenge in September consistently you have to find ways to regenerate your list with fresh talent. 1. Starting point is two 1st round picks. At least a top 10 pick in this year's draft as a starting point. No later then top 12. Great opportunity to grab an elite midfielder that may slide. Elite talent like Hewett, Sheezel, Tsatas would genuinely give our midfield mix a whole different dynamic. If we're wanting to go tall then there is Jedd Busslinger from WA who's an elite defender at 197cm or Aaron Cardman who's an elite key forward. I feel like these are much bigger needs for our list moving forward. Jason Taylor has a rich history of nailing first round picks and the thought or him having his hands on this year's talent excites me. 2. Frees up salary space. Simple as that. If we need to target an experienced key position player then like we did with May then we'll have the space for it.
  7. I would without hesitation.
  8. Langdon gave him an almighty spray afterwards. I think as supporters we were genuinely waiting for that exact moment you pointed out to happen. I nearly threw my cat through the TV when he chose to dribble kick instead. It's frustrating because in country footy I've seen blokes on my team or opposition benched nearly for a whole quarter from selfish acts such as this. Wish that happened tonight.
  9. I wonder if Lloyd Meek will come into calculations? 203cm 106kg ruckman who apparently has shown promises as a ruckman at senior level. Wins big disposal numbers at WAFL level it seems. I only ask as I have legitimately only watched him once and that was round 1 last year at the G where I thought he held up well against Gawn for a first gamer. Anyone know much more about him?
  10. Of course I'm going to blame it on Bailey. Which part of this are you not understanding? I'll explain further in simple terms so you understand better. He didn't look inward because his eyes were already fixated on the goal. He was on a tough angle and his first option should have been to look inboard for another option as he was on a tough angle. It's a simply footy rule 101 to always look inboard at what available options there is before going the difficult kick for goal if need. As Jordan Lewis said, the fact he didn't even bother to look for other options is a concern. It sums up his attitude towards the team and I'm hating it.
  11. It would never happened but I'd genuinely drop him purely for that act. Let's remember that this has been an ongoing theme with Fritsch all year and not just off tonight..
  12. About time he gets called out for the [censored] selfishness that's cost us goals.
  13. If you're reporting this then yep clearly he's gone. What are we're thinking in return?
  14. Eek.. Gawn could barely get off the ground.
  15. Played like a guy that was already on a plane half way to Perth.
  16. What
  17. I'll let ANB off the hook. He was the only one that was chasing hard all tonight and applying defensive pressure. The other 3 were non existent.
  18. Those performance haven't impressed me at all lol. Some are so easily satisfied. Bookmark this. We SHOULD make top 4, but I'm happy to put my gonards on the line with this call. This is not even off the back of tonight's performances.
  19. What a horrible performance. Only thing savings us being thumped by 8 goals was their inability to convert. Have no idea where to genuinely start.. our senior leaders were horrible plain and simple. Gawn was non existent and could barely lift his arms whilst Steven May was close to worst on ground. What on earth was our game plan tonight? Kick long down the contest and get out numbered around stoppages? This was so [censored] predictable and we showed no intent to switch the ball and play through the corridor. Geelong on the other hand sliced us through the middle and opened our defence up so easily. We were incredibly slow to react to their transition. Tonight was some of the worst individual performances we've seen tonight. Guys like Bowey, Sparrow, Spargo, Bedford have all been horrible the past few weeks and need to spend some time at Casey. It's time to start rewarding guys who are in form and not continue to reward mediocrity performance that the likes of Bowey, Sparrow and Spargo have dish up for the past month. Bowey especially just got pushed aside far too easily. If he wants to make it as an AFL footballer then building his core strength has to be first priority. I genuinely have no idea what Sparrow adds to our side. Legit. Non existent once again. He's not even a ball winner and his awareness and reaction is so slow for a mid. Would feel more at ease with Dunstan in the side then this bloke. Spargo has been missing all year. Just hasnt had the same impact as last year. Time see what Chandler has to offer because right at this minute, Spargo is a squad clogger and needs to seriously find form Jordon was awful. Harmes is a dead set shocker. I genuinely can't believe what I see when I see him attempt Dusty don't argues and then gets pinged for holding the ball. Infuriating! Steven May hasn't won back any respect on performance since he has come into the side. Happy to be lippy on the drink but then puts on one of the worst performances you'll see. His game tonight was just littered with skill errors and soft acts. You could tell he was not all there from the opening bounce. Fritsch is a selfish [censored]. Genuinely starting to dislike him as a player purely based on these selfish acts. Had the golden opportunity in the last quarter to handball to a Langdon all alone running into an open goal but instead tries a dribble kick across goal. Langdon was absolutely giving it to him and rightly so. How on earth have the coaches not pulled him up on that? Salem is a shadow of his self from last year. Just zero influence unfortunately. Positives were I thought Petty was our best backman for the night. Genuinely starting to get sick of him not being mentioned in the same boat as Lever and May because he is close to being an elite defender in my eyes Overall, we simply got smashed on our own game. Geelong just seem to out number us around the stoppages. We lacked composure once again going inside 50. Petracca, Fritsch, Langdon, Spargo, Harmes, Viney were the main culprits. Whichever you look at it we are simply not as good as last year. We get exposed on the quick turnover and we still have no forward connection. We don't seem to be that one whole connection around the ground as what we were last year. There are some holes on the playing field that is starting to show and good sides have exposed that this year. We're not winning it this year.
  20. Bowey has been extremely weak around the contests...
  21. Death, Taxes and Harmes getting pinged for don't argues...
  22. [censored] you're a selfish [censored] Fritsch!! Langdon was wide open in the square and elected to dribble. Sick of this selfish crap from him.
  23. They haven't lost a last quarter since round 6 lol
