POSTMATCH: Rd 22 vs Carlton
Really? I'd have the Brisbane and Freo games as two that stand out for me personally..

Did you even watch the game? I've already explained this further in depth. Go back a page or two and you'll mind my response. Some serious red and blue blinkers on here with some you lot..

CHANGES: Rd 23 vs Brisbane
Weideman was BOG for Casey playing as a high CHF. Problem is, when he comes into the team they pigeon hole him as a deep forward. I still think we are 1 key forward short and having Weideman play that high role up the field means Brown can stay deep more often then not.

Weideman and Mitch White were BOG for me.

CASEY: Rd 21 vs Carlton
Weideman has had a big 2nd half. For a big bloke in these conditions hes been quite clean below knees. I like him better when he's playing higher up the ground.

CASEY: Rd 21 vs Carlton
His inside grunt work has been good. It suits players of his ilk. Watching him closely hoping he can come in next week. The issue though is attempted don't argues and all times and trying to take the tackler on when there have been options around him to give off. In these conditions it's simple basic footy that's been taught from auskick, just get the footy on the boot and get it forward.

Harmes has been awful. Hopefully people don't get sucked in by his stats because he's butchered the footy going forward and has been pinged several times for holding the ball exactly as you described. He'll never learn.

Interesting first half. The conditions don't suit forwards today, but having watched the first half pretty closely the pick out of the forwards has been Joel Smith. His work rate has been impressive.

CHANGES: Rd 23 vs Brisbane
The knee injury has really taken a toll on his. It's effecting turning circle and power to push off contest. And I agree with you, right now he's not suited to the wing role. His awareness and reaction timing is off and he isn't able to provide the run like he did in the first half of the year. It's too late now to make this move which I'm annoyed about, but I would have given Jake Bowey a go when Jordon hurt his knee. Bowey played all his junior footy as a natural wingman/half forward and he's someone who is so composed with the footy but also adds speed and creativity on the outside.

I presume he was spending time up forward?- POSTMATCH: Rd 22 vs Carlton

Kudos to them. They battled really well and certainly had the upper hand especially in the 2nd half. They had a pretty banged up Pittonet and Silvagni as their rucks who competed well.- POSTMATCH: Rd 22 vs Carlton
Just on May, and a bit off topic, but how good is McKay? His overhead work is elite and work rate off the ball as well as his defensive pressure for such a big guy. What we'd kill for a key forward like Harry McKay..- POSTMATCH: Rd 22 vs Carlton
Unfortunately not sure we're going to be changing much, if any, the formula we've had all year, especially with 1 game left before finals. I mean one example was Carlton were missing half of their midfield brigade and yet we still lose the general and centre clearance. We should have smashed them in this area of the game. On reflection, we got out of jail, but lets not kid ourselves there is still some pressing concerns moving forward with our overall structure and system.- Patrick Cripps FREE to play
Yep. He was good for them.- POSTMATCH: Rd 22 vs Carlton
Makes sense why he was giving it to Newnes? After that goal.- CHANGES: Rd 23 vs Brisbane

Yeah nah, can't recall ever calling him a crab. There have been times where he's frustrated the [censored] out of me with his game style and still does. His rugby league style football in getting the footy and trying to take on 10 blokes was costing us momentum in games and coughing up the footy to the opposition by getting pinged with the ball. He had to take this [censored] out of his game quick smart because it wasn't doing the team any good. He has moments of this still, but it's a lot more limited now which is probably why he's finally having career best form. Fail to recognise when I'm wrong? Bro I'm the only one in here who puts their hand up when I get it wrong.. I could easily call out others for being wrong and not admitting it but what's the point in that. - POSTMATCH: Rd 22 vs Carlton
