GAMEDAY: Rd 23 vs Brisbane
The Bowey selection is interesting purely that he's coming off a 5 day break and got some pretty big hits at Casey last week. Looking forward to watching him play though.

Meant to say not afraid to admit I shed a tear when he kicked that goal.

TEAMS: Rd 23 vs Brisbane
Everyone is a bit touchy today.....? Anyway, me personally, this is a game that we should win easily. I think Brisbane are one of the most overrated teams in the comp. Flat track bully's who struggle when pressure and intensity hits them between the eyes. Bring our A game tonight and we'll beat them. How awesome would our weekend feel knowing we've secured top 4 going into the pre finals bye. Would be a relaxing 2 weeks....

Dean Kent retires
Always had a soft spot for Kenty and believe had it not been for injuries he would have been an absolute gun half forward. Will always remember his goal in Perth back in 2018 that put us into finals for the first time in 12 years. Not afraid to admit that after he kicked it I knew we were home and playing finals. All the best Kenty!

Sparrow and Spargo are incredibly lucky. They've been far worse and non existent then Jordon.

Trade and Free Agency rumours
What the [censored] are you on about it?? Actually read what I wrote and you will see I am actually pumping up Yze incredibly high as a coach and a big reason why I think he would make a fantastic senior coach at GWS. As usual you go on these massive tangents before taking the actual time in reading what's properly written.

Lynden Dunn back supporting the Demons!
I mean, of course Dunny jumps on the bandwagon when we're good again. He should have been reminded of these comment back in 2019.. https://www.sen.com.au/news/2019/05/03/i-wish-i-had-come-to-the-pies-10-years-ago-dunn/

Yep. Combination of key players like Lever, Petty, Salem and Rivers all banged up with injuries, and teams now able to piece through defensive system through doing their homework.- POSTMATCH: Rd 22 vs Carlton
No, our pressure as an overall has been below the bottom 3 all year, not just the past 3 weeks. Those 3 games we lost simply because when the pressure was ramped up we simply could not stop the momentum. Last year we were able to combat this in games and stem the tide towards our own game. As I have already mentioned, our back half of the year and finals wins last year was built on the back of our fanatic pressure and forward half turnovers. The past few games this has been non existent and that's the big concern in itself going into the finals that we haven't been able to rectify this. Our game plan is far too predictable starting from the kick out (teams have worked this out already by setting up numbers on the left side of thr ground) to us bombing it into the pocket going forward. We've had positional changes, but we haven't changed our method at all in proving to opposition teams that we have a plan B in place once teams get a run on.- POSTMATCH: Rd 22 vs Carlton
We are no where near tracking similar to last year. This is complete head in sand stuff from you. Our pressure rating is currently 17th compared to when we were sitting 2nd this time last year. This is still a significant concern in itself especially coming up against the likes of Sydney and Geelong in a high pressure environment. Our ball movement is once again in the bottom end of the scale after it was in the top bracket from rounds 1-10 this year and last year. This time last year we were coming into the last round having banked 3 wins in a row and our game plan and method was a lot more stable and well structured. All the kinks we had experienced middle part of last year had been ironed out by round 23. This year we're going into the last round with a record 2-2 from this month alone with still big concerns forward connection and stopping teams get a run on. We got beaten around the midfield contests by a team that was missing 3 of the beat starting mids when we should have absolutely smashed them in this area especially having two elite ruckman in tandem. I expect a win against Brisbane. But you're kidding yourself if you think our method and game structure is similar to this time last year.- JAKE BOWEY APPRECIATION THREAD.
Playing for Casey Demons.- We're Finishing OUT of the Top Four

I think Hawthorn exposed us with this and it's given other clubs a blueprint. - POSTMATCH: Rd 22 vs Carlton
