My 3 word player analysis V Collingwood
Gawn - couldnât influence centre Viney - disappeared after half Petracca - few clean disposals Hunt - kept opponent quiet May - not his fault Salem -still seemed lacking Petty - season worst game Lever - dominated his opponent Brown - provided a target Jackson - needed more involvement Sparrow - was rarely noticed Hibberd - looked slow tonight Pickett - poor under pressure Jordan - couldnât handle pressure Langdon - some poor disposal Neal-Bullen - was rarely sighted Fritsch - had little involvement Spargo - unsighted after half Brayshaw - great first half Oliver - disposals were amateurish Rivers - little to commend Melksham - five minute performance

Eddie Betts opens up on the weird camp
And what if the Crows won the game, would other clubs have embraced the stance?
-
My 3 word player analysis V Fremantle
Gawn - great first half Viney - continued amazing form Petracca - classy all game Brayshaw- made a statement Oliver - beaten but valuable Pickett - lively and dangerous Langdon - reliable and consistent Fritsch - selfless and important Sparrow - enjoyed the conditions Jordon - produced as required Spargo - was always dangerous Melksham - experience proved valuable Lever - outstanding despite injury May - an impenetrable force Rivers - run was valuable Jackson - another average game Hibberd - fountain of youth Salem - beginning to shine Hunt - rarely instilled confidence Petty - continues to excel Neal - Bullen - little to impress Weideman - wasted plane ticket

Gary Lyon mooted this idea on SEN this morning too

My 3 word player analysis V Bulldogs
Yes youâre right⊠I should have complimented them for throwing away the game and probably the season

My 3 word player analysis V Bulldogs
Gawn - age is wearying Oliver - played without confidence Brayshaw - prolific without effectiveness Salem - intensity was lacking May - one costly blunder Sparrow - no X factor Hibberd - loose and lacking Viney - great first half Pickett - had limited involvement Petracca - season worst performance Fritsch - disappeared after half Jordon - little to enthuse Tomlinson - little to commend Weideman - disappointed yet again Neil-Bullen - was rarely sighted Melksham - irrelevant second half Jackson - overrated and underperforming Petty - yin and Yang Spargo - was rarely sighted Harmes - season worst game Langdon - season worst game Rivers - seemingly without confidence

Yze to coach GWS?
Stupid comment. A - Goodwin has won a premiership and is currently coaching the equal top team. B - How do you know Yze has got what it takes to coach a senior team ? Have you actually seen examples of his coaching capabilities?
-
My 3 word player analysis V Pt Power
Gawn - imposed when necessary Pickett - highlight reel performance Viney - consistent 4 quarters Petracca - class showed out Langdon - vital outside running Sparrow - just a game Jordon - a constant contributor Fritsch - important but wasteful Brown - importantly more involved Jackson - seemingly treading water Hibberd - our best defender Harmes - hit or miss May - was generally effective Brayshaw - reliable and consistent Spargo - some better connections Melksham - important in last Neal-Bullen - some vital touches Tomlinson - justified his selection Salem - going through motions Rivers - seemingly without confidence Lever - was rarely sighted Bedford - another nothing performance
-
Our kick out strategy
The alternative go to strategy of kicking it short to Salem in a pocket is also so predictable and easy to defend because he has seemingly misplaced his precise kicking and just lobs it slowly to nobody in particular At least Hibberd ,Hunt ( when heâs playing) and even Rivers ,take on their opponents. Though not always successful they DO attempt to break the lines

Farewell Luke Jackson
Realistically we are disappointed to lose Jackson because of potential rather than actual performance. I for one would not be shedding tears if he left as long as weâre well compensated
-
My 3 word player analysis V Geelong
Gawn - rusty but important Viney - prolific but wasteful Oliver - regularly under pressure May - great after first Petracca - surprisingly selfish game Salem - took easy options Brayshaw - a few moments Harmes - tough but loose Jackson - continued disappointing season Hibberd - was generally safe Lever - steady all game Jordon - was rarely effective Neal- Bullen - couldnât get involved Langdon - suffered from constriction Bedford - overwhelmed by occasion Bowey - didnât handle pressure Brown - poor second half Fritsch - totally ineffective performance Petty - was never disgraced Spargo - neednât have arrived Pickett - another nothing game Sparrow - was rarely sighted

NOT Taylor Walker
I canât stand the guy but the groundsmen at Casey would love him because they wouldnât have to water the turf as often with the amount of phlegm and saliva he expels.đ

Whilst thereâs NO doubt the umpiring was rigged, Lever was given a lifeline when not penalized for fumbling ( deliberately) the ball over the goal line when under absolutely no pressure.
-
My 3 word player analysis V Crows
Petracca - bull has returned Oliver - incredible winning desire Langdon - indefatigable running returned Salem - rarely raised sweat Jordon - reliable and consistent May - great after first Viney - continued outstanding season Harmes - tough and reliable Brayshaw - regularly repelled attacks Lever - crowd boosted performance Neal-Bullen - an efficient game Bowey - reliable and unflustered Sparrow - some important touches Fritsch - a forgettable milestone M Brown - a meh game Spargo - couldnât get involved Weideman - hurry back Max B Brown - couldnât impose himself Bedford - no heroics today Pickett - did just enough Petty - was rarely sighted Hibberd - better first half

TEAMS: Rd 16 vs Adelaide
Interesting that our 3 main on ballers last week, Oliver, Petracca, and Viney , were arguably our 3 best on the field, despite, or perhaps because Gawn wasnât playing. Without Gawn to direct the ball to them far more effectively than Jackson could, the above mentioned 3 had to play different roles last week and had to rely on cunning, experience, and sheer will to attain the ball. For this reason Jackson and Gawnâs absence could very well work in our favourâŠ. though I do wish they WERE playing.

My 3 word player analysis v Lions
Viney - amazing all game May - superlative in defense Jackson - outstanding after first Petracca - important when needed Sparrow - excellent tagging game Harmes - great first half Fritsch - deadly around goals Weideman - was not disgraced Bedford - some party tricks Brayshaw - impassable all game Lever - perfect defenderâs game Oliver - prolific and important Jordon - made excellent decisions Neal-Bullen - some important tackles Hibberd - disposed of Cameron Salem - was rarely required Spargo - pressure was better Pickett - Some breathtaking involvement Brown - provided regular contests Bowey - quiet but classy Langdon - will get better Petty - gave opponent nothing
-
My 3 word player analysis v Collingwood
Gawn -played under duress Viney - disposal was haphazard Brayshaw - great third quarter Salem - still finding feet Lever - played without conviction Bowey - schoolboy footballer again Turner - limited before injury Petty - was obviously hampered Hibberd - not the answer Oliver - prolific but harmless Petracca - lost his edge Langdon - had limited involvement Harmes - all or nothing B Brown - North was right Jordon - disposal couldnât hurt Neal- Bullen - disposal was amateurish Jackson - couldnât take control Spargo - was never dangerous Sparrow - tried but limited Pickett - one noteworthy involvement Fritsch - delivery didnât help M. Brown - opponents licked lips

Farewell Luke Jackson
Heâs been separated from his âincredibly close/inseparableâ brothers for nearly 3 years!đ

Petty must play forward ( if fit )
Ridiculous response. Our key forwards are ALL underperforming and have been given more than enough opportunities to show theyâre up to it. Theyâre NOT!!
-
Petty must play forward ( if fit )
Under the circumstances, and with May returning to solidify the defense, we know what weâll get from Harrison, and placing him at centre half forward seems the only viable solution at the moment to our underperforming forward line.
