They're f$&;)d beyond belief!
-
Not sure I would call Tyson a 'sloppy second'
-
Lets hope so, if anyone can get to the truth it would be one Hercule Poirot. Especially if Hirdy walked in and thought he was French!
-
Or it shows they are all completely ignorant of the process. Unfortunately that isn't as unlikely as it should be.
-
Then why are you questioning a cricketers ability to run for 120 minutes based on what they eat? Seem you are saying that the paleo diet doesn't allow for that to occur, Gaz is a pretty good example of the fact it isn't the diet that is the problem.
-
Gazza jnr seem to do pretty well on the paleo diet!

FB: Jetta Dunn Garland HB: Lumumba McDonald Salem C: Vince Viney Watts HF: Kent Frost vandenBurg FF: Garlett Hogan JKH Foll: Jamar N. Jones Tyson Int: Cross Brayshaw Pederson Howe Emergency: Dawes Gawn Newton Players that could get a game now (although some not at AFL standard yet, and some may never be): Toumpas, Grimes, Trengove, Stretch, Mitchie, Riley, Spencer, Bail, M. Jones, Terlich, Fitzpatrick Players to develop further to be considered for a game (the rest of the list): ANB, Omac, Hunt, King, White, Harmes
-
Surely Garland is ahead of Grimes as an emergency? Or even good enough for a spot on the bench!
-
Maybe I have buried my head on that one but I don't see tanking as cheating unless you deliberately loose games (as in match fixing style where everyone buys in). I don't think we did that (close but not quite), and certainly not the players.
-
But we didn't tank Old Dee I also don't count the type of tanking we did as cheating. Still a bloody deplorable time of the clubs history.
-
That's because their supporters have no shame, and no ability to see past the smokescreen that has been put up around them.
-
Drugs for sure! Nothing is more shameful than cheating!
-
Watch out, Robbo might read that and get his next article idea 'Why the queen should step in to save Essendon from the evil WADA'. I can see it now.
-
If the Hirds feel it is against the constitution, by that I mean Australia's, it would need to be challenged to the high court on the basis of the case not being in line with our constitution. It would be a hearing like the Hird one to the fed court, not actually about if they did it, but more about how it will be heard.
-
Tim Lane absolutely smashed it out of the park in the age. His point is best proven by the antics on the footy show deriding WADA, the reaction of leaders in the game such as Eddie McGuire. They all just want it to vanish with no need to actually know what happened.
-
So if Tania, the prominent lawyer, hahahahahaha, thinks it is unconstitutional, should we expect to see a challenge to the high court?
-
That is effectively what they are. How are they any different?
-
The AFLPA are basically a union, therefore you should not surprised by your description, especially as I can't think of one Union that doesn't act in that fashion.

It wasn't considered as they were not satisfied it was TB4 that was imported. Once that fell over then there was no reason to look any further and the question of what the players were injected with stayed as unknown. Mind you, what was imported being TB4 fell over for unknown reasons, they had a test saying it could be TB4, the manufacturer, and the person who ordered it all said it was TB4, but they some how were not satisfied it was. Defies belief.

Thanks for offering to do the postage for me!

It was upto the players if the full findings were released, or still are released. By not releasing he full findings it only makes me more sceptical about what was not found by the tribunal, and question how obvious the dots they failed to join were. All we have heard from the EFC friendly media is how ASADA got a caining, and a mor ebalanced opionion from anyone else. The only way for the players to stop the speculation is to release the findings, why haven't they, and why haven't the media been calling for it. Also makes me sus how the Eddie McGuire's of this world all said it should be released after the verdict, why aren't they calling for its release, have they read it and realise it doesn't look as good as portrayed? Who knows, just bloody release them!!!!!!!
-
If the players took banned drugs they are far from blameless and they must be banned, and the ban must mean something. Otherwise it sends the message that athletes can blame their club/coaches and even if found guilty will miss no time.
-
So am I :/

It is not bias of the tribunal that was at play though. It was choosing tribunal members who would by the hardest to convince. It is why they put in Jones as head, he has worked with criminal law for a long time so is very used to dealing with beyond reasonable doubt. I wont accuse him of bias, or not fulfilling his role to the best of his abilities, but he did set the burden of proof very high (and the cynic in me says that is by AFL design), and both WADA and ASADA have said as much, along with many lawyers. You have to remember, the AFL is very good at being too clever for its own good.
-
If the AFL remove itself from the WADA code then the Dees will be getting a very polite letter explaining why they are now in possession of every piece of Demons merch I have, and how I will no longer be following the club or the sport, but thanks for sometimes good memories.
