  1. So Peter Jackson isn't that smart then?
  2. 6 Gawn 5 Melksham 4 Hore 3 Salem 2 Hibberd 1 Smith (for the only contested mark inside fifty)
  3. 6 Salem 5 Hore 4 Frost 3 Brayshaw 2 Viney 1 Preuss
  4. One piece of play - Salem wins the ball at half back, turns on the left under pressure and has to kick 60m to a paddock with one Saints player in it. Not one of our forwards or mids manages to cover that outlet kick. Is that laziness, dumb footballers, lack of fitness? Only one example, but symptomatic in my opinion.
  5. Tribunal must make their decisions with a dart board.
  6. Pressure will be on the tribunal to be consistent if Cox appeals. Very similar to the May incident.
  7. Wonder who actually pays the fines.
  8. Always liked his courage in the air. First couple of AFL games this year I thought he was holding back when team mates were in the marking contest. Last couple of games he went hard at everything regardless.
  9. If you mean I may have posted an opinion similar to yours, well gosh I apologize profusely. Of course if that didn't happen this thread would have about 300 less posts.
  10. Exactly. Not uncommon for negotiations to start with ambit claims from both sides. We ask for 6 & another first rounder, they offer 11 & a second rounder. They should have eventually got to a median position of 6 & a second rounder. Therefore we get what we want ..May. They get what they want .. Hogan. But they decide to sell pick 6 for some reason that escapes me, they don't have the 5 they were expecting and they have nowhere to go. Just plain amateurs who have outsmarted themselves. If they manage to get pick 5 I think the deal will still happen. Only because we are a professional outfit with a clear outcome in mind.
  11. No, this is all you need to read.
  12. Reckon Hunt needs an attitude adjustment more than a big preseason.
  13. Imagine telling your grandkids that that stain probably won Melbourne a premiership.
  14. If he is allowed to get away with it, it becomes open slather for all. As a fend off it's less controlled than an arm. Only a matter of time then until someone runs full speed into a boot in the throat or the groin. Totally dangerous & stupid. Has no respect for his opponents at all. As far as it being a dog act, most dogs I know are more responsible than that.
  15. 6 Harmes 5 Melksham 4 Jetta 3 Jones 2 Gawn 1 Weideman
  16. Nailed it in one sentence. If the umpires penalise the kidney punches and elbows and blatant holds and pay what they see, instead of what they are are told to see, these incidents would probably never happen.
  17. Home crowd umpiring. Happens there, WA & Geelong.
  18. 6 Oliver 5 Lewis 4 Brayshaw 3 T Mac 2 Gawn 1 Petracca
