Agreed. If Jack has 12 kicks and 3 of them are goals, I'd back the other 9 to be delivered to a team mates advantage. Plus 11 marks is a fair effort in any game. The fact that his second half was better than his first shows that he is playing the game out.

I think Garland cops a lot that is unwarranted. I question why our defenders run so far forward, if they are incapable of getting back when we turn the ball over. I'd like to see him go forward at this stage of his career. The point you make about Salem is a valid one. His stats flatter his impact on the game.

Think the 4 year old probably has a better idea than the umpiring dept.
