Farewell Jesse Hogan
Always liked his courage in the air. First couple of AFL games this year I thought he was holding back when team mates were in the marking contest. Last couple of games he went hard at everything regardless.

If you mean I may have posted an opinion similar to yours, well gosh I apologize profusely. Of course if that didn't happen this thread would have about 300 less posts.

Exactly. Not uncommon for negotiations to start with ambit claims from both sides. We ask for 6 & another first rounder, they offer 11 & a second rounder. They should have eventually got to a median position of 6 & a second rounder. Therefore we get what we want ..May. They get what they want .. Hogan. But they decide to sell pick 6 for some reason that escapes me, they don't have the 5 they were expecting and they have nowhere to go. Just plain amateurs who have outsmarted themselves. If they manage to get pick 5 I think the deal will still happen. Only because we are a professional outfit with a clear outcome in mind.

Imagine telling your grandkids that that stain probably won Melbourne a premiership.- Toby Greene's boot stops.
If he is allowed to get away with it, it becomes open slather for all. As a fend off it's less controlled than an arm. Only a matter of time then until someone runs full speed into a boot in the throat or the groin. Totally dangerous & stupid. Has no respect for his opponents at all. As far as it being a dog act, most dogs I know are more responsible than that.- Demonland Player of the Year - Elimination Final
