Well of course but there are no guarantees on a trader in player. Thats the beauty of the draft, the player we pick could be our greatest ever. You just never know.

This is not the case. Serong and Young have massive upside. They will be just as good if not better than the top 2

We need to decide whether we want a small forward or a half back/winger. Once they decide just take Serong or Young, I wouldn’t be trading pick 3

Successful clubs don’t do this??? Every team has depth players. Ryan Schoenmakers is a perfect example at Hawthorn.

I think the other reason we might be looking to split the pick, is to grab one of the rucks. There is some very good early ruck talent.

He is a gun though.
