Thanks for posting. Like you said, stats don’t always tell the full story but I definitely think his impact on games has been much higher this year and the pressure he applies would have to be close to number 1 in our team.

It is interesting they haven’t signed yet. Just hearing a few clubs are sniffing around but as I said nothing clear at this point.

Does anybody find it interesting that Bailey Smith still hasn’t signed at the Dogs yet? There might be more to come out on this. I can’t see him leaving but there are a few whispers about.

It is a great question but I’m like a few others in saying that I haven’t enjoyed it as much as last year. The expectation each week and not always delivering has made it more difficult. In saying that I think we are still the best team in it and I can’t wait for the spring air and finals to come along. Just hoping we hang on to our top 4 spot

I think you are off the mark here. Gus has been our best performing back all year and his marking, kicking and courage have been an absolute highlight for me this year. He is expected to pull off some tough kicks at stages and this sometimes hurts his kicking reputation. I think his kicking is very good, he kicks both feet which he uses to his advantage and he is going at 75% efficiency which is excellent. Just as a comparison both Oliver and Trac are at mid 50’s and Pendlebury who is playing a similar role is going at 69 %. It’s a myth that he is not a good kick.
