GC already have enough points to cover their Academy kids, they have 4 of them not just the 3 we've read about. It would look like they will trade pick 4 for future firsts. They may only need around 4200 points depending on where their bids fall, and they will get some currency from any players they trade out. Maybe our FF1 plus ports FF2 for grundy plus #15- Harley Reid
Yes GC do have pick 4, but will be gobbled up with their first academy member at pick 2, so they will trade it out for currency (our proposal will be 15, 24, 34 and our FF1, possibly then offer 4 and 5 to WC for 1), we may be the club who bid and get their pick 4, but who knows, I'll still take any 2 of Watson, Duursma, Caddy or O'Sullivan. Will be interesting off season. Its all navel gazing at the moment, Cheers- 2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
My opinion is, that if you want pick 4 from GC, then you will need to throw in pick 15, 24 and 34 plus our FF1, GC will only deal if its a big advantage to them. We get 2 top 5 picks, plus Young Brown and upgrade Turner. You have to give to get.- Harley Reid
I agree, my mock draft as is Possibly swap McKercher with O'Sullivan based on need, which pushes all draftees down 1 position.- Harley Reid
FWIW, I've tried to look at the upcoming draft and noted that once all the F/S and academy picks and possible high compensation for B. McKay our picks will look like this, not necessarily who we pick but our second pick notionally 15 will actually blow out to 21, so pushing for H. Reid should be a priority. Not saying my draft is perfect but wanted to see where our pick 15 falls. The numbers in front of each person's name is from another person's draft as I was too lazy to rewrite all the names. 1 WCE 1 Harley Reid 2 GC 2 Jed Walter GC academy 3 NMFC 6 Dan Curtin 4 NMFC 7 Colby McKercher B. I would think that maybe there will be some points coming back through late round draft picks/ compensation for Jordan, Tomlinson, Harmes trades or others we don't know about yet, anyone of those will give us points for a young Doggy Brown. I know Jordan is a UFA, but three clubs are pursuing him and will want to trade prior to the draft/pre season draft etc.- 2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Free Agency - AFL.com.au- 2023 List and Contract Details
Only 3 picks in the top 40, Disco to be elevated at the end of season. We will only have 3 spots total at end of year by my reckoning with one to go on young Brown. Only way we can get more places on the list is if Harmes or McDonald decide to go elsewhere. Dunstan, Hibbert and Melksham not re-signed, JJ to go elsewhere for game time.- 2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Totally agree, Carlton's pick 4 would also be a consideration with something back, we should get some compensation from JJ's free agency to allow enough points to pick up young Brown, either way, Watson, Caddy or Duursma would be around that mark. Can you include Kye Turner please ?- Alan Richardson on SEN (3/3/23)
Interesting to note when talking about Kossie's position, that Richo mentioned Jason Cripps the PA list manager and not any other of the WA clubs or Crows. Not sure PA have any currency to bring Kossie in, will take at least 2 first round picks and something else. Thoughts ?- 2022 NATIONAL DRAFT ORDER AND SELECTIONS 2022
I'm trying to find out if the F2 from Freo is the original North F2 at around pick 19, 20 ? any idea- 2022 NATIONAL DRAFT ORDER AND SELECTIONS 2022

Bowser- TRAINING: Thursday 14th July 2022
Hi Pickett, very much enjoy your training notes, any thoughts on why Dogga was holding up two fingers in the first training piccy.- Steven May Suspended by the Club
So I don’t comment much, but the divide that May is causing to the club, should position him to be gone at the end of the year, we should be relying on Lever, Petty and Turner to take the backline forward. May is someone that doesn’t take much notice of anyone.- GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Richmond
There’s a lot of bath water drinking going on tonite.- Tonight’s Draft - The First Crack
well I'll have a crack at JT's needs basis for tonight, it's between Jacob Van Rooyen and Blake Howes for mine. FFWD or a hybrid forward of the Gunstan mould. Tomorrow night might throw up Toby Conway or Jack Williams Ruck vs FFWD/ruck. Then Taj, keep the other pick for a train on or Andy MW as a Cat B rookie.- 2021 List and Contract Details
