  1. Pick 27 has vanished.
  2. Is that Phil Scully in the Giants bunker ?
  3. Sparrow and Nietschke appear below.
  4. Jack Watts is disappointed he's left the club.
  5. You're stating the obvious.
  6. As for "not being a great night" ? No-one will know for a number of years how good it was or wasn't.
  7. If one revisits Knightmare's Power Rankings from April this year there are still three left from his top 20. In fact, three were in his top 14. 7. Ian Hill (WA) Best position: Midfield/defence Height, weight: 174cm, 66kg Recruited from: Perth Projected draft range: 2-10 Similar to: Stephen Hill Rationale: Starred for Western Australia during the 2017 Under-18 Championships with his acceleration, agility, evasiveness, one-touch ground ball-winning and skills humbling opponents. 8. I hope Lukosius isn't as soft as Watts. Just a feeling.
  9. Worst coverage ever. Just get on with it.
  10. I no longer have a mob, George. They equally sicken me.
  11. Labor is hopeless, the Greens are insane, and the Liberals are pathetic. Great choices.
  12. It's "you're". And I don't respond to whiny snowflakes.
  13. I just had another look. Tom Mitchell is 2. Either I'm really going mad, or you are.
  14. I'm clearly going mad. But so are they if they think Stevie J should be ahead of him.
  15. And yet they overlook the best of them all - Nat Fyfe.
  16. vandenBerg is definitely best 22. I know Hunt's faults, but it would be great if he has a big year. Oscar Baker has the outside size and traits we need. It will be an interesting summer for him.
  17. You're the snowflake that sent me the whiny PM. Some supporters can dispassionately discuss players. It's called maturity. It doesn't mean you "hate" anyone. Jones played a consistent year, but it lacked brilliance. Then again, his whole career has lacked brilliance, which is why he has never made the AA squad of 40. He played plenty of games at a consistent level, which will reward a player like Jones in a B&F, especially when he plays nearly every game. Mids who are more important than Jones by year's end ? Harmes, Brayshaw, Oliver, Viney, and vandenBerg on a wing. Petracca is more effective when he has stints on ball. Jones will remain in the conversation for a rotation through the midfield, but he's not a great outside mid, so it's fair to question his role in the side moving forward. I'm struggling to squeeze him into a fully fit 22. There are others you'd prefer on a wing, which is an area of the ground where we struggle, and there are inside mids ahead of him. For now he has a spot on the pine.
  18. He's worth pick 6 to us. Our days of piling up kids are gone. We're trying to win a flag in 2019. If he was a 27 year old in an open draft this year I doubt he goes top 10.
  19. The more he was told not to do it due the club's history the more determined he became.
  20. You don't understand how Goodwin ticks if you even think he'd contemplate leaving for "big bucks" at the end of 2019.
  21. Angus Brayshaw showed some really promising signs in his first year (2015). Due to injuries and concussion issues his next two years were disappointing. He lost his aggressive attack on the footy and just didn't look the same promising player. Demon Andrew, or whatever he's now called, potted him every second week. When he finally got some confidence and continuity in his game and was played in his best position (on-ball) he shone. You don't lose your natural talent. I'm looking forward to seeing what Kolodjashnij can do with confidence in his body. At 23 he's the perfect age to come to the club.
  22. He went to primary school around the corner at St Mary's (with Bailey Smith).
  23. The difference between Kolodjashnij and the Viv Michies of this world is that Kolodjasnij was a genuine top 10 talent. At 190cm with good speed and a lovely left foot kick there are already AFL attributes for a club with good development to work with. Judging Kolodjashnij on any output in 2018 on the back of concussion issues and the demotivating workplace that was the Gold Coast Suns isn't the smartest reasoning. The fact that he came second in the 2015 B&F behind Ablett in just his second year shows his high level talent. His Brother, who wasn't considered to be as talented as him and went at a pick in the 40s, just finished 8th in Geelong's B&F. I reckon Kolodjashnij is a great get by the club and I'm very confident he can become an important player.
  24. Canterbury Nth Balwyn.
