I don't have to twist, of course if twisting is disagreeing with you, strange on a public discussion forum, I am not allowed to disagree -

Yes, because he has been working on it to make him an even better player than he was He even acknowledges this, although being a player, he will never tell the truth will he -

No you have been banging on about him not having the skill set to be an AFL player, not specifically a good or great one, you said AFL player As for fitness, he is now apart from the virus, done a full pre season for the first time, marvellous what that does for fitness So you prefer your opinion of his kicking than the coaches Handball - it was a forward joke Does all marking have to be about one on one, what if you use your speed to get away from your opponent and mark easily, there is no way I am comparing, but there is a guy called Franklin who has been doing this for years, so if Fitzy can keep doing this, not an issue -

I think the first line of that post tells readers of this forum more about you than me, congratulations you have now joined the every increasing list of posters I don't read Coaches don't speak the truth about players?.....McCartney told me Friday was ordinary and players need to learn to play as a team, Roos in his presser although not naming them inferred either Lumumba or Dunn should have taken control of the Viney mark and kick as leaders McKenzie's skills at training have improved, does it translate to games, don't know yet, although he has been ok in the NAB Challenge when he was on the field, and I chatted to him last year about where he had to improve and he told me exactly what Roos had told him. Other players have done the same, but hey you can't possibly give me or the players any credit can you, again says more about you than me -

Fitz Attitude - has battled shoulder reconstructions, chronic fatigue and diabetes to stay on the list tick Fitness - one of the fastest at the club over 20 metres and when fit the fastest 200cm at the club over 3k tick Kicking - the coaches think his field kicking is above average - tick Footy IQ - played fullback and still managed 10 marks in a game - tick handballing - a forward - hates it - tick for attitude physicality - paleo diet been a real benefit, now 98 k but stronger than he has ever been - tick marking - area he knows he needs to work on -

I have never ever seen Kent kick with his right either at training or in games, and Viney always tries to get on his left Disposal efficiency is one of the coaching tools used along with the GPS heat map to see where the disposals are happening, I asked -
No, actually unlike some on here, he actually did something and achieved something, marvellous what happens when you actually communicate

You didn't define what the skill set was, you pointed out what skills Fitzy supposedly lacked, one of which the coaches don't agree with, another, which is backed up with vision, that I don't agree with -

My take on the skill set Disposal efficiency should be around 70-75% Should be able to kick efficiently off both feet, that takes out Kent and Viney, are they still AFL players? And I enjoyed every second of it Song -

Thanks for that, but as I have said before, I am lucky enough to live within spitting distance of both the MCG and Goschs, so try and provide some info for supporters who don't Contrary to what some posters think, generally if I ask a question of a player or coach, I get a good answer, because most know I am not a fan of bulldust and don't insult me by offering that up, they also know that if they ask my opinion of something, they will get an honest answer, makes for a good player/supporter relationship Also as you can see, I asked for the definition of the skill set required to be an AFL player, as some posters seem to know what it is, haven't seen it defined yet -

So what do you say to the coaches who say it is above average, are we talking set shots or field kicking? -

I don't dob chap, they players get enough negativity from other media, without me adding to it, but if a player asks ME a question, then I will answer it honestly, I told Aaron Vandenberg he had taken one bounce too many in that run to goal, he agreed and also told me he actually shanked the kick, just glad it went through with Jesse Hogan freeI don't cut people down, I want opinions based on something, if I don't think they are, I will ask, that is part of being on a forum, we are trying to discuss the reasoning behind the move of Jack Fitzpatrick to defence, he will probably play a full forward this week after all this, some posters have denigrated his playing ability, I want to know why, if I don't agree I will say why I have been playing and watching footy for over 37 years now, so hopefully I have a slight understanding of the game, I also try not to be too pessimistic as each season approaches although the last few have been a bit trying -

Everybody is entitled to an opinon, I have just expressed mine to Wiseblood with reasons why I have that opinion, that is a forum, discussion, that seems to be a problem on here, a lot with the inability to acutally discuss, or are afraid of being told they are wrong, I will put my hand up when I am wrong, do you? -

His field kicking is above average according to the coaches I asked, McPherson and Mathews In the last couple of games of last season, he either beat his man in an aerial battle and then used his agility to score, or was completely open to receive the ball and score, this would suggest he knows where to run -

I asked for the definition of the skill set, kicking is one part of the skill set, what in other posters opinions are the other skills that are a requisite to be an AFL player, I am waiting for Wiseblood to answer as he seems to know -

No of course you can have an opinion, as long as you can elucidate what it is based on, otherwise I will question it, if that's ok -

I understand people have opinions, based on many things, like Bill Shorten would make a better Prime Minister, but I love some of the he is a spud, he's no good etc, that then come back to haunt, Nev Jetta and Lynden Dunn spring to mind, but we also now have Stef Martin as a mistake when a lot on here couldn't get rid of him fast enough I have opinions on many players, but I keep them to myself, because I am not on an AFL coaching panel, so I don't have the opportunity to work with and analyse players every day, I only get to see them on match day, but I also have faith in the club that down the track they will 'do the right thing' and move on any players they don't think will cut it, in their opinion -
Does this mean a day after the Season Launch that Glenn Bartlett may face impeachment and have to resign?

Sorry you have an opinion, based on what?, or is it just a gut feeling, which is similar to an opinion or a hunch which is what you have when you are not sure it is an opinion, it could also be natural intuition, as avatars/nicknames are not gender identifying I try and base my opinions, where I can, on fact, they tend to carry more weight then, except for those posters on here who don't allow me an opinion of course
