  1. Keep them coming KC, good to hear Brayshaw is enjoying himself
  2. and a b and c are still wrong, you need to look at the club website, there has been a video there since yesterday, he has a badly bruised heel
  3. I had a chat to some of the players over the pre season about this, not sure what Tommy Mc meant, but Roos has certainly got them doing more k's at training, On average except Rucks and some of the bigger guys, if you did the full session you were averaging 12-13k, light days 9k Rucks and big guys about 11k, with light days 8k Don't know what that totals over time
  4. See what, for something to be a fact, it has to be ;proven, WJ could help us out there Some say Demonland is the home of balanced discussion where facts are the first point of reference in any discussion I have yet to see proof of that
  5. As you know I have had quite a few chats with Christian, he is a smiling assassin, loves the tough stuff, from training when Brayshaw took the head knock, it was Salem who drove him into the ground. He is nearly at his playing weight now, which is around the 85 mark
  6. We've never had Dustin
  7. Again you need to be on Twitter/Instagram etc to see more
  8. That is just ridiculous, but I assume you have been through it during quite a few seasons And what type of depression are we talking about?...What you mean you don't know there are different types Again, this happens every day in other workplaces, and the difference is?
  9. Oh please, some of the posters are the same from the Garlett topic, "not me your honour, never done a thing like that in my life", the hypocrisy kills me Me, lots of times I have said something somebody wanted to hear so I could get something I wanted Give me written proof that he 'gamed' the system and I will accept it
  10. I must tell Nate Jones you don't rate him, as for that we have another one ready to rock who I am really looking forward to seeing this year Dom Tyson, that's 2 Not arguing, trying to debate, Clark was injured a lot of the time, there is no evidence that he would have eventually managed to return to full fitness, and help the club become successful, everybody hated the coach we had at the time, would Roos now be coach if all these hypotheticals had happened, he even had issues at Brisbane, who knows if he won't get the same at Geelong It is just yours and others vitriol, not based on fact And similar to Nut, he was following doctors orders, except I tend to think that the doctors opinion may have been correct, although some don't like it
  11. Sigh, and I though mentioning Jack Riewoldt, as a Coleman medallist ,in a team that has failed spectacularly in finals in the last five years as relevant to your pining for a Coleman medallist, what would I know
  12. Nut, only differ slightly, Once a player leaves MFC, I lose interest in them,, although I must admit have had a chat to a few away from fhe footy environment, as a human being Not sure about your opinion on the changing of the environment though, have had experience over the years with certain people with depression and one of the first things looked at is environment, I am sure if I found myself in this position, I would follow any advice given As for Roos being livid, I do find this a stretch, talking to him myself I have always found him to be, a player wants out, bye, replace
  13. It is a waste of time having a Coleman medallist up there, if we haven't learn our lessons from the last few years and actually get the ball up to the forward 50, that was the one promising thing I took from the Freo game, we won that count, most of the time the delivery was rubbish but at least we got it up there Whilst it would be great to have a Coleman winning KPF it doesn't necessarily equate to a premiership, Jack Riewoldt, if most of the forwards can do their bit, then that goes some way to winning games,
  14. Gee you must really enjoy going to games
  15. Of you go then, you have made enough noise and with his six goals, it should result in the poll result you are looking for, but please phrase the question, "if returning to MFC was in the best interests of both the player and the Club should Mitch Clark have returned to MFC instead of going to Geelong"
  16. No I tend to punch the seat in front of me if I get frustrated with an error or such, but I don't know, it's a new season, perhaps we will find forwards who can kick goals, as long as we have learnt to get it to them quickly, I know I won't be watching Geelong games unless it involves MFC as well, not really interested
  17. I will go and find the same small group of posters who have been spouting the same opinion since it actually happened, I don't agree, simple
  18. The only 'fact' that Redleg put was the purported amount of money he was paid by MFC, again nobody knows the true figure, the other was that he will dominate with the Cats, that is not a fact, it may be a fact in six months time, but then again a week is a long time in footy
  19. Gee Nut, and I get told off for sarcasm/derision....made me laugh out loud...excellent. Don't forget the blow we have been dealt, I am still reeling, what am I going to do with my life now
  20. What facts, would you like to state them, here they are...........he has/had depression, he retired, he came out of retirement, he joined Geelong, we were compensated Not willing to debate my hypothetical re Hogan?
  21. He earned it, beg to differ that a lot of the bile is respectful, this is 4 or 5 pages of 'poor poor us' again It's a new season we have a lot to look forward to, their best defender Talia went to Hawkins and did a job on him, opposition teams will work out a way to counter both, but that is for Geelong supporters to worry about If you don't like the derision, don't read my posts, I don't read of a lot of other posters, the list is becoming too long to type who they are Edit, I have tried to learn, get told off by my lady, but sometimes just can't help myself, old habits die hard, and as I have said before, don't care a jot whether anybody likes what I put anyway
  22. Well yah boo sucks.....I may throw my handbag down and go and stand in a corner
  23. I am using as part of the debate on this topic, the whole work environment has changed, including footy
  24. I don't, I just treat as human beings How do you know it was shifty, were you at all the meetings? No, you weren't and neither was I, it is all past history now as Nasher says, but hey the hair shirts haven't had an airing for a while You are drawing a very long bow if you think Clark on his own would have made the difference with us being contenders, don't forget most on here still think our list needs even more pruning to become the equal of even a middling AFL Club, fanciful in the least We have a forward of Coleman winning ability, his name is Hogan, as long as we let him develop, without the saviour moniker hanging over him, imagine if his back injury forced him to retire this year, but then there was a breakthrough in the treatment so in a year or two and he was able to return, but at home in WA, what would the reaction be, or is that different?
