POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs Geelong
I spent $615 on a redlegs membership for a guaranteed grand final ticket. For what? Watching this crap? Our forward line and backline are a shambles and we are slow and can't use the ball properly. Only a handful of players putting in and that is only the start of our problems. You fooled me once Melbourne you won't fool me again. Back to 3 game membership for me. What a disgrace this club is.

What to do with Petracca?
Too fat, too slow can't kick. I'm calling it right now BUST! Drop him and trade him. THOUGHTS?

Casey vs Geelong at Werribee on Saturday
I prefer Frost I still like his speed and could be a good match up on Rohan. Oscar gives us nothing.

Casey vs Geelong at Werribee on Saturday
Casey defeated Geelong 12-7-79 to 7-9-51 Carryover emergency : Hore Goal scorers : 2 Stretch, T.Smith, Keilty, Gent 1 Preuss, Chandler, C.Wagner, Munro TEAM B: WHITE, HUTCHINS, TYNAN HB: J.WAGNER, PETTY, MUNRO C : BAKER, MAYNARD, MCCAFFERY HF: C.WAGNER, T.SMITH, GENT F: BEDFORD, KEILTY, CHANDLER FOLL: PREUSS, STRETCH, SPARGO IC: STOCKDALE, STEPHENSON, D.COLLIS, W.COLLIS, M.LEWIS, WALE-BUXTON, D.FRITSCH, GAHAN SPARGO: Disappointing, slow start got into it a little bit but is a long way from a senior recall. BEDFORD: Quiet done a few good defensive things finds it hard to find the ball. STRETCH: Had a blinder he was everywhere and kicked 2 goals very close to senior selection. MAYNARD: Nothing to write home about really a few good inside things but he isn't playing near his best like he did a few years ago. PREUSS: Beat his opponent in Zac Smith but needs to do more around the ground. BAKER: Just a game done a few good runs but that was about it. PETTY: A class above Oscar should be in the side. Done everything right. CHANDLER: A work in progress but showed some good signs. T.SMITH: After a slow start worked into it Pretty well, missed a few shots but kicked 2. C.WAGNER: Fantastic game but let's himself down by foot sometimes. J.WAGNER: Really good second half a solid backman. KEILTY: After a good start realitively quiet took some good marks. McCaffery spent the second half on the bench not sure if injured. Good to see Hutchins at full back as solid as ever don't play him forward again.

If Frost doesn't play on Rohan I'm not really sure why he is in the side.- Casey vs Geelong at Werribee on Saturday
I'll be there and give a report once the game has finished. Personally I think Spargo will be carry over emergency. Possible team B: JORDON, HUTCHINS, TYNAN HB: J,WAGNER, PETTY, HORE C : STRETCH, MAYNARD, BAKER HF: WHITE, KEILTY, VELLA F: CHANDLER, BRADTKE, BEDFORD FOLL: PREUSS, GENT, MUNRO IC: STOCKDALE, M.LEWIS, MCCAFFERY, BUXTON-WALES, D.FRITSCH- PREGAME: Rd 02 vs Geelong
How bad is Petty's foot? I don't think it matters how many debutants you have it's weather they can provide more than the player they replaced. Keilty could arguably provide more than Frost or Oscar. If an ordinary player like Ratugolea gets a hold of Oscar then that's it for me dropped never to play again. I personally think Oscar has stagnated he's not the only one Petracca is one and I personally think he is a bust.- Non MFC games Round 2
Unfortunately it looks like the pies are back BUGGER! Hopefully we can have a turn around in form like they did?- PREGAME: Rd 02 vs Geelong
May will play on Hawkins. Frost is a spud and it will be interesting how they use him, should not be in the side. Petty or Keilty should have been ahead of him. Frost could play on Rohan and Oscar will play on Ratugolea last chance surely?- PREGAME: Rd 02 vs Geelong
Thank god Hore is out. Frost and Oscar still in the team makes me worry. Interesting to see how they play Frost.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JAY LOCKHART
Congrats to Jay hopefully he can have a good game.- PREGAME: Rd 02 vs Geelong
It depends what they do at the selection table. The 3 defenders have to go they know who they are. Not confident one bit, but I am confident we will be harder at the ball and not get slaughtered on the outside like last week. The Cats by 6 points. Gawn, Viney and Jones to have big games after having shockers last week.- OUR FUTURE TEAM
I'm looking not right now but probably the half way point when we get Lever. If we want to be a premiership team we have to make changes our team is still too slow and not enough good ball users. I've made the tough decision in retiring Jones and Lewis and we have the worst key position player in the comp in O.Mac and we have no small forwards.. B: JETTA, MAY, LEVER HB: HIBBERD, PETTY, KOLODJASHNIJ C : HUNT, SALEM, BAKER HF: MELKSHAM, WEIDEMAN, HANNAN F: J.SMITH, T.MCDONALD, CHANDLER FOLL: GAWN, OLIVER, BRAYSHAW IC: VINEY, JORDON, HARMES, FRITSCH Kolodjashnij to take Salem's role, Salem into the midfield to add some much needed class. Hunt and Baker to give us speed on the wings. Chandler seems like our most gifted small forward unfortunately. Jordon and Fritsch as our good ball users off the bench. Thoughts?- Training - Wednesday, 27th March 2019
Will there be a training training session at 10am Thursday? If there is I'm going. Do you know if there is Saty?- Changes vs Geelong Rd 2
Lewis is out for 3 to 4 weeks Kolodjashnij must come in.- Changes vs Geelong Rd 2
I understand that but 3 that I mentioned are not up to AFL level. We need to bring in players that can play May is one Kolodjashnij is another and they need to give Petty a go he can't be any worse than the spud we have at full back now. May and Kolodjashnij will definitely play so Frost and Hore should make way. I'm not sure they will have the balls to play Petty so unfortunately I will have to vomit my through the game watching Oscar spud it up. I can't believe we have our very own Zac Dawson.- Changes vs Geelong Rd 2
Why not? Kolodjashnij comes in straight replacement for Hore and Petty who played well in the VFL according to Drunkin replaces Oscar the spud and May was always going to replace Frost. Any of those 3 stay in and spud up the side watch a belting. The midfield and forward line can improve those 3 can't.- Changes vs Geelong Rd 2
After reading Drunkin 's report I have settled on 3 changes. Weid and Spargo very lucky. INS: MAY, KOLODJASHNIJ, PETTY OUTS: O.MCDONALD, FROST, HORE EMERG: STRETCH, BAKER, KEILTY, PREUSS- Casey v Box Hill - Practice Game on Sunday
