There are many reasons - train in Melbourne, build up supporters, more people can go to training, connect with the city of melbourne, players don't have to drive 2 hours to get to training. would be great to have our 2nds play in melbourne too so more people can go to games, plus the AFLW team has a chance to get some more people to go to the games and build a supporter base

T Mac should definitely retain his spot. I supported the decision to drop him but he played well as Casey, showed the right attitude and took his chances on Saturday. If Jackson is fit, he will take Weed's spot. Bit harsh on Weed but he is 4th in pecking order currently. It is great to have this competition for spots though, keeps T Mac and others on their toes

So who is coming on Sunday? I just arranged to go to the game with my mum. I will do something with the kids/wife that morning. Finally an afternoon game, should be cracking clash too with the Saints fast attacking play

Is Gawn the best player in our team though? Clarry and Trac must be close having said that Gawn 100% should be considered top 3 in the league. Reckon Clarry is number 1 though

T Mac is being judged too harshly on the Harmes mark on the goaline imo. He has never had the best awareness and I reckon he wasn’t sure where the posts were and thought he better mark it to be sure. I really don’t think he would have intentionally marked it knowing the full situation around him, where defender were etc

Agree but Fyfe has never kicked straight and I can’t see that changing

Lions missed around 5-6 simple shots and were away from home. Daniher injured too felt like a 8 goal win. Lions not really troubled and would towel the swans up at home

Lions clearly the biggest challenger to us hipwood back in 2 weeks Bailey McStay Cameron McCarthy Daniher Hipwood + Raynor is easily the best fwd line in the league. we have them marginally in the midfield and our defence is superior
