No doubt in my mind we’ll be in the top 4-5 teams competing for the flag. The Clarry sitch is a major concern but we just need to see what happens there.( i have low expectations there). we need tall fwds to stand up and a consistent fwd line that the mids can get used to kicking to. We need to regain that hungry winning mentality in finals. we have good kids coming in which will help. there are no unbeatable teams out there so we are in the mix

Bevo, Clarko, Hinkley etc all missed finals multiple times with premiership quality lists. two of which after winning flags its not as missing finals, it’s the 3-5 year outlook which still looks very good. there are 16 good teams in the league and it only take injuries bad form and bad luck to go on a bad run

Clarry clearly has some things to work on off field and whatever agreement he made with Goody a few weeks ago he would be sticking to. Goody knows more than most you cannot perform unless you are mentally fresh so if taking extra weeks away is recommended he should do that. i would doubt he’ll be at training next week
