Don’t be too harsh on the Pies, there’ll probably be fights even they win
-
Don't want them to be courageous, just to pick the team most likely to win if it annoys a few fans, it doesn't bother me
-
I do get that. just thought it was a interesting quirk
-
Grundy hurt his ankle in training and sent for scans. doubt he'll get up
-
So going by the betting agencies, their is roughly the same chance of Collingwood winning on Friday night as there is MFC winning the flag?!?! good lord

Do I need an OCD card to register for this thread? -
Is this one of those places that roll their eyes when you say you have a 40” waist? ”I’ll check out the back sir”

Eddie Betts opens up on the weird camp

Good lord! Sounds horrific surprised they haven’t been sued yet -
Dogs are 150 ahead of the Tigers on the differential. madness

I think he’ll be captain again in 2024. Maxy will be past his best by then Viney is already our best onfield leader. His intensity and drive to win is unbelievable. I wouldn’t change it next year though. Max is doing a great job

There are no maximum limits on ground dimensions? The AFL is so amateurish at times
-
If rain it’ll be about 60K no rain we could push 80K!
-
Took Miller has had a good year although not as good as last year However, Clarrry’s year is head and shoulders above him. Not even a contest
-
Brown and Harmes both tests. Hopefully Brown is not selected unless his knee is right and he can jump
-
No change. Best team defence for the year.
-
How is Viney not on the leaderboard yet?!
-
Thanks for replying so maybe AFL grounds should have standard dimensions? Obviously if their home ground has a certain characteristic they would play a style to suit it. problem is for them, they don’t play finals on it
-
Wow there is some weird responses coming out but is the best one
-
So you’re angry at the AFL then, not the Cats? they don’t choose who they play
-
I’d take Zeibell any day over Zorko or Heppell. Puts his head over it and not a whiner
-
How is it any better than the Gabba or Spotless? *Just wondering…not trying to start an argument
-
I hate the Cats with a passion but I don't understand these type of comments. Do you not think they are entitled to a home ground? In finals they don't even get to play at home even when they've earnt it due to the AFL wanting money, which I think is unfair

Some bizarre points from Jake - firstly that Dusty is getting paid way more than Hawkins. Hawk is 35 and no-one thought he would even be playing at this age let alone playing very well. Dusty is coming off 3 norms. Couldn't think of a worst comparison. The other two examples are Selwood who may retire this year or next and Danger who is 32. Of course you get paid less when you get older, it is not some sort of team ethos. Danger and the like raked in the coin in their prime. The fact is the Cats have very few gun players in their prime so salary cap is easy to manage. J Cameron is the only one I can think of right now. No insights for me aside from high draft picks having large contracts on potential (why we should feel OK about LJ leaving). I thinks the Cats are where they are due to a quality culture, very good coaching, quality drafting at late picks. However they have not won the flag as they lack top end young talent (high draft picks) If your goal is to do well in the H&A, then they have been successful. However 10 years on top with only 1 losing GF to show for it is failure to me.

once it's 2nd cousin or higher - play on
