This is really an indictment on Clarry. 8 years after efforts like this from respected mentors and he chooses not to change
-
Solid negotiation tactic Geelong will roll us unless we play hard ball
-
Not many here at all Nice goal by Banno Go Dees
-
if Clarry was a free agent at least we’d get pick 4
-
Campbell is considering his options now 😂
-
sometime you gotta hold people accountable though
-
I'm beginning to empathise with Trac more now that the Clarry drama continues to unfold Who knows how bad it was last year Good call missing the BnF too. Call me when your house is in order Demons
-
Ahhhhhh The warm, comforting bosom of the Draft thread
-
In 5 years will we look back on Clarry as our Ben Cousins? I hope for his sake we don't
-
What nonsense! Why does it have to happen? Why can't he go somewhere else? We have asked Clarry to explore his options. This is one of the options. If the Cats are keen you can bet the bombers etc would be.

Surely there are targets and minimum professional standards to meet in a 10million contract? How can we be held to a contract when the player does not hold up his end of the bargain to be a professional? Negotiate a new contract based on failure to meet the existing one. Half the money, then trade him
-
Who were you lecturing then?
-
Almost as bad as 7 years for Treloar and sending him packing without warning (for peanuts) with 5 years left and Treloar being an ultimate professional
-
Please do. Supporters don't need to be lectured on how to feel or act during a devastating time like this. We thought PJ and Roos had righted the ship and now we are back to a basket case
-
you almost bought the farm trying to explain it! I thought the joke was solid by the way
-
Morning all What fresh hell awaits us today?

"A couple of off-field incidents in recent weeks have put Clayton Oliver back in the trade spotlight for the second time in 12 months. It’s understood Oliver’s recent behaviour has again tested the patience of some teammates, while the club has been disappointed in some things he has not committed to." What did he do? You can't just say off-field, it's the bloody off season. Everyone would assume the worst but who knows. What targets is he meant to be meeting In September, on his holidays away from the club? I am sick of these vague BS articles
-
Confirmed he was sacked last week and was caught off guard Amazing he lasted 14 years on TV
-
Journalists saying he was meeting with the Cats today Seems pretty cut and dry The reasons behind it are still a bit unclear
-
If we are pushing him out we will get screwed in the trade. Maybe a late first rounder at best. why would clubs pay more unless there are several interested But I would demand to know why we are getting rid of our best player for peanuts And not rumours or innuendo, actual reasons
-
The worst part is I don’t have a physical card so i’ll have to melt my phone
-
If Trac is demanding Clarry leave he can [censored] right off Would be like Cotchin not being happy with how lenient the Tigers were with Dusty or the Pies with De Geoy If true, I won’t be cheering on Trac ever again
-
The not knowing what is really going on with Clarry and Trac is brutal Mfc - Clarry is staying Clarry - I’m staying Media - Clarry is meeting with the Cats riiiiiight
-
One thing is for sure, the Cats are loving leaking the news of a meeting to the media and throwing us into further chaos
-
I like to think i don’t overreact often but if Clarry goes I won’t be following footy for a while, maybe for many years. He is our greatest player since Robbie. Second best ever imo I have waited my life for a midfield gun that every other team had in the 90’s and 2000’s
