I reckon we are building and the 2nd half on Sunday was the best footy we have played this year. We were good at times against the Saints but we looked in control on Sunday after half time. Our structure and game plan looked more settled. But GC have some fire power. We have no-one to stop King. Petty with Lever helping will try. No Rowell, Humphries and Trac does put pressure on Anderson. Kolt to him perhaps. Win the midfield battle and pass short and accurately and we are a chance. GC haven't had a challenge of any sort since 4th March.

Don't get me started TU. 😉 Love Sales and reckon he is one of the first names on the team sheet and will be for a couple more years.

Agree. Crows and maybe Freo are the only competing teams that might be tempted by Cripps. I'd say Cripps would be tempted to leave Melb to get away from the nuffies Blues need a rebuild. They have some kids and some coming next year. No idea why they didn't sack Voss last year. It's just a matter of time now

Matt Lloyd said if Kozzi was in a better team he would be talked about as the best player in the league by end of the season. How does the quality of your team indicate the quality of a player? If anything, it's the opposite. Harder to look elite in an average team. Probably just Lloyd trying to have a subtle dig at us. We are not a poor team, the bombers are. We are decent, thank you very much.

Watching the replay I have to admit those 2 HTB free kicks in the last Q would not normally be given and we were lucky In other words Id be furious if we had those paid against us.

I have to say this despite the potential blow back Salem made a couple of howlers in the first quarter but he also had 7 contested touches in the same quarter. More than a 1/4 of our entire teams contested touches. To me, a senior player trying to lead and contest when others were not. not spoiling that kick for the debutant to mark was shizen
