Cam Bruce to Melbourne?
I think it’s fair to say that CAM BRUCE HAS GONE COMPLETELY MAD!!

Simon Goodwin Sacked
Goodwin is good bloke but is treating every media opportunity like a job interview He is acting like the board and us members knew we’d have a couple of down years and then go again. I’m fairly sure that was not the plan We all thought we were in contention still. So clearly that is a falsehood. I wish him well but let’s not rewrite history

Simon Goodwin Sacked
I wonder how we’ll look back on this decision in 5 or 10 years Not often a premiership coach gets sacked who hasn’t ‘lost the players’. 2 poor seasons for sure but a fair bit of adversity in that time with star players. I wonder what narrative he had created with the board. i.e. we have a lot of quality senior players, some issues with stars and we need a new game plan. give me 2-3 years to regenerate through the draft, imbed the new gameplay and we will be back in the top 4 in 2026. I imagine there was a metric he didn’t meet. Good on Simon for not throwing us under the bus, despite being so devastated. he is great football person

Cam Bruce to Melbourne?
I guess if we wait a month all the top assistants would be gone

What's Collingwood ever done for Melbourne?
Crazy how quickly people forget about Ben Kennedy

2025 MRO & Tribunal
So touching the genital/[censored] area of an opponent is not frowned upon by the AFL That should increase child participation at grassroots unbelievable
-
2025 MRO & Tribunal
He is clearly just trying to help him up

2025 MRO & Tribunal
Either way the AFL need to thoroughly probe Smith to get answers. A line up could be useful too, for Smith to finger the perp

Daniel Turner - Next MFC Captain?
Turner is a beauty but still too inexperienced. I'm glad we have Gawn to give us stability with the change in Head Coach and CEO etc. If Lever can get his body right, he would be my choice although if Gawn has 2 more years in him, Lever might be almost done by then. Rivers has good traits and our young group has leadership potential, which is important as we seem to have a gap in 23-28 age group So buggered if I know!

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Thank you Picket, coming from you that means a lot

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
I reckon he is the most stubborn bloke in footy. I’m a soccer guy and I liken him to one of my heroes Roy Keane. Such a dedicated professional that doesn’t understand why everyone else isn’t devoted to the game all day every day. Bucks had the best years of Pendlebury, Sidebottom. When he took over there was Dane Swan, Heath Shaw, Daisy, Ball, Cloke, Jolly etc etc. He came in, said there was culture problems, (that Malthouse had been able to handle) and decided to rebuild a ready made premiership team. He got rid of the guys he didn’t like. Then won zero finals for the next 5 years. Then in fairness he did very well to build a team that almost won it. Those 5 years fans were begging him to do something different, change his style, but he never wavered. My belief is he wanted to win a flag that was his, not on the back of Malthouse. If he was not a club legend he would have been sacked in 2016 - Goodwin style That’s not to say I think he is a bad choice. I’ll back him and hope he’s learned from his mistakes.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
The posters that wanted Goody out for being stubborn, playing favourites and not changing playing styles are in for an even rougher time with Bucks

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
I wonder if the Blues would consider Goodwin when they sack Voss?

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Thanks mate, that's the one

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
I saw a clip of Paul Roos saying our list is no where near as bad as it seems He compared us to the Pies before McRae took over and he said if he was Buckley he'd be taking over to win a flag in the next 2-3 years, not start over again Sorry no link

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
That [censored] Tom Morris reporting there will be a decision by prelim weekend. Not enough time for a 'proper process' And talking as if Buckley is a shoe-in

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
haha yep. His manager would have told him to look less interested in the media as he'll have no negoitation power

POSTGAME: Rd 22 vs Western Bulldogs
Do you mean the Goodwin who was in charge when we recruited him and then developed him and gave him his debut? He, like others eg, Kentfield, were raw and needed training and development at Casey. I see Culley and other young players flourishing and I think it’s down to good player development. Sure, Goodwin had loyalty to players like Melksham (and Petty) who many wanted delisted. Who at Casey do you think deserves a go that hasn’t had a chance yet? We are at 9 debutants for the year

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Does anyone know who the best senior experienced assistant coaches are? eg Fagan, McRae types

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Salem has been one of our best, most consistent players in the past 5-6 weeks. usually over 450m gained today, 24 touches at 95% I wish we had more players that kept the ball like him. *I am aware he is not fast and cannot kick very far. not saying he is perfect but he doesn’t turn it over

NON-MFC: Round 22
Shanahan looks a beauty I love McVee but would trade him in a heartbeat for Jobe

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
All this coaching panel nonsense… As if we haven’t been calling candidates for weeks. Green said as much.
