A few years ago, we were undergoing a restructure at work. My job was safe, if I wanted it. I assured the partner that I was staying, “I promise, I’m not going anywhere. This place is my second home”. Next day, I received an opportunity that was hard to turn down, so I didn’t. And promptly resigned.

I’m not saying I want Buckley (I don’t, would’ve preferred to keep Goody), but I don’t care where someone is from or who they use to play for; I want the best available option.
