    The three young players you mentioned were targeted, talented and non-speculative picks. If we replace ANB with the pick we receive for him, it’ll be more of a speculative, random kid. We’ll be lucky to get a late third rounder for him.

    Jordan Lewis: You’ll love it at Melbourne Smithy, they’ll pay you way more than at the Hawks and give you an extra year or two. Plus, you just have to stand on the ground and point. The only down side is there’s no toilets at training.

    I don’t think we’d be actively looking at pushing Preuss out the door. Perhaps other clubs have made inquiries and are willing to give him the opportunity to be their starting ruckman and we’re just doing the right thing by him and giving him the chance.
